This was a great tour given by our guide Elizabetta! She was so informative and moved us along at a very relaxing pace so that we could appreciate everything we were seeing. Being able to “skip the line” pass is very adventagious! A must….as lines are extremely long.

Great experience!

This is a lot of walking and standing and very very many people … but so worth it! Our tour guide Laura was wonderful- so knowledgeable and friendly. She made sure we got the big important information and also the small details and fun facts. We were so well prepared by her for the Sistine Chapel which made the experience so special. Highly recommend this tour and specifically Laura.

Great option for day trip...

Great option for day trip from Rome to Pompeii and the Amalfi coast. We loved our tour guide Sarah! She was full of information, engaging and funny. Our party opted to use this tour as our transport to Sorrento and not take the bus back to Rome at the end of the day. This worked out well for us as we stayed the night in Sorrento and were able to do Capri the next day. We then used public transport (bus, trains) to make our way back to Rome through Naples. This tour was a fun way to facilitate transport to the Amalfi coast while including a great guided tour of Pompeii. Definitely recommend!

Fred was a wonderful guide! It was very clear that he really enjoys his job and is very knowledgeable. The Vatican was amazing and St. Peter’s Basilica was incredible!!! It was a wonderful experience hearing all the history and being able to see the amazing spaces . Would highly recommend!

Outstanding Tour

The Colosseum forum and Colosseum Floor tour was amazing. Our tour guide was outstanding! It was like having a college professor as your tour guide. Very knowledgeable as well as entertaining. I would definitely recommend! I would have paid more money just to have our tour guide again.

The Trastevere food walking tour was a highlight of our time in Rome! Our guide Amin was fun, friendly, and shared interesting information about the area and food we were eating. The tour was easily walkable with some stops to sit, eat, and use the bathroom while others were standing to eat street food. The food was all delicious!!! We were absolutely stuffed… burrata, suppli, porchetta sandwich, apertifs, two pasta dishes, gelato, wine, beer, prosecco… wow what a night of eating! The size of the group was perfect as well, an intimate family style tour off 10-12 of us.

This was the most extraordinary experience. Our tour guide Alessi was so knowledgable and funny. I gained so much information from this day and would love to do this again. Alessi has such a passion of Italy and of Michelangelo that you couldn’t help but to enjoy it.

Fun ride on beautiful cart!

Our guide, Arianna was wonderful and we had such a beautiful car that others were taking pictures and videos of us! My only complaint would be that visitors should be aware that a golf cart through cobblestone roads is a very bumpy ride so if you have motion sickness, this wouldn't' be a good excursion. Its a great excursion to do when you arrive somewhere so you get a great overview and then you can go to individual sites as you wish for a longer time.

I think anyone that...

I think anyone that DOESN’T use a guided tour of the Pantheon and Coliseum is doing it wrong. There is just too much to know and see to do it without an expert. The tour was well structured, the guide was very knowledgeable - and we definitely got the full experience without feeling rushed or like we missed out. Walking tours are my favorite for getting true value out of a historic place (vs. a singular sight/cool vantage point such as a mountain or a canyon). This one definitely didn’t let me down and I recommend it to everyone that intends to visit Rome. One thing I’d note for those who use Viator and go on different tours is to look at your options in relation to the premium spots/restricted areas. We did not have direct access to the underground portion or the top of the coliseum (which I believe is relatively new to being open to the public). I think those would’ve been amazing too but they were booked well in advance and we didn’t get the chance to jump into one of those groups. Enjoy!
