Excellent tour and guide with some meeting confusion.

We loved this tour and learned a great deal from our guide Naomi! The meeting place is run by a different company which created a lot of confusion for us, and the guide didn't have a name tag or a way for us to identify her so that created more confusion at the meeting place. Once we connected with her, it was well worth it, but expect some confusion meeting the guide. Definitely pay for the gellato at the end!

Our tour was wonderful. Eugene was the best guide we had in Rome. Knowledgeable, passionate and entertaining. I also appreciated that the other employees helped bring us to the line when we were running late. Which I do NOT recommend doing listen to their request to be early.

A Fantastic Trip Back in Time!

Representatives were at the appointed place on time. Groups were easily organized. Bus took us to Pompeii where we met our guide. She was wonderful! She was engaging, personable, and informative. She gave us suggestions for lunch! Thoroughly enjoyed the spectacle that is Pompeii. You will not be able to see the entire city in one visit since it’s so vast! Good value for the money!

Excellent tour!

This tour is very art-focused, which we enjoyed very much, but some people may be interested in experiencing the Vatican from a different perspective. Our guide, Gaga, was SO knowledgeable, and provided very interesting background and perspective on the things we saw. Everything is stunning and there is an overwhelming amount to see, so we were very happy to have someone direct us to the highlights and tell us about what we were looking at, or what to look for. Keep in mind that this a 2 1/2 hour tour, so you will only have time for a small part of the Vatican Museums + Sistene Chapel. If you want to see more of the museums, you either need a full-day tour or to visit on your own. We definitely recommend this tour, though!

An unforgettable experience in Rome 🇮🇹

Had an amazing experience in Rome. Everything was well organized, easy to follow, and made it possible to see a lot of the city without feeling overwhelmed. Rome is incredible—the history, architecture, food, and energy of the streets are something you have to experience in person. Definitely a memorable part of my Italy trip and something I’d recommend to anyone visiting for the first time.

The Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel consists of XXl (21) beautiful, large rooms. Not air conditioned. We moved quickly though the throngs of guided tours. Bring a Rick Steves narration as you walk thru at your pace. Don’t do any Viator guided tours. You are a transaction and tick mark for Viator.

Taking this as a guide-led activity completely elevated our time at the Borghese Museum. Our guide, Frederica, was exceptional. She provided a deeply informative exploration of both the historical context and the artistic genius behind the collection. Rather than just pointing out the works, she explained the political climate of Baroque Rome and taught us exactly how to look at the art—highlighting the physical tension in Bernini’s marble and the mastery of light in Caravaggio's canvases. Frederica’s profound knowledge brought the history and art to life in a way only a great guide can. Highly recommended!

Amazing Colosseum tour with skip-the-lines!

This Colosseum tour was an incredible experience and definitely one of the highlights of our time in Rome. Our host was incredibly knowledgeable and did such a great job bringing the history of the Colosseum to life. He was engaging, personable, and made the tour feel interesting from start to finish rather than just a history lesson. We learned so much about the ancient Romans, the gladiators, and the fascinating history behind one of the world's most iconic landmarks. Our host was excellent at explaining the details and answering questions, and his enthusiasm really made the experience that much more enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome. Having such a knowledgeable and engaging guide made seeing the Colosseum even more memorable and gave us a much deeper appreciation for the history and significance of the site. Highly recommend Ambra and Citywalk

Our tour guide Ambra was very good. She was knowledgeable, went with the pace of the group and accommodating to all in the group. She handled kids in the group nicely by being playful and keeping everyone’s energy up throughout the battling heat and conditions.

Excellent tour - recommended

I would highly recommend this trip. It was a last minute booking and we had to accommodate some changes for a family member, but it was no trouble. The afternoon of our trip it was during a biblical amount of rain, but despite the weather, Serena made it engaging and very informative and was accommodating of my sons aged 11 and 8. She had so much knowledge and it really brought it alive, especially with the overlay of pictures that others have mentioned. I really recommend this tour.
