Great Tour and Great Guide!!

Steve is an extraordinary guide if you’re lucky enough to book him! He successfully paced a long day (12+ hours) without leaving anyone feeling totally exhausted. His directions are specific, referencing landmarks that are easy to follow in a variety of unfamiliar settings. His commentary is informative and thorough and engaging, with interesting stories and a dash of humor. At the end of the trip he checked with each individual party to ensure that we knew how to navigate the tube to our hotels. 6 stars out of 5 is not an overstatement. We’d gladly travel with him again.

Excellent tour, very limited time in Windsor

Even though the time allowed on each stop is limited we were able to enjoy the three sights. On Windsor Castle due to the changing of the guards and extra security, the real time allotted was less than an hour, so we decided to only visit the St. George’s Chapel, beautiful. On Stonehenge there was plenty of time to enjoy the site and the exhibits in the visitors center. Wonderful experience. On Bath the visit to the Roman Bath was very good, we would have wished to have extra time to explore. Our guide Bruce provided interesting and useful advice during the trip and our driver Marius kept us safe and on time. All in all it is a long day but worth it. If you want to see Windsor, this is not your tour.

That Simon is a wonderful tour guide. He told us everything we needed to know for both Stonehenge and Windsor castle. While we had traffic delays. He did make up for it by extending our time at Windsor. That was much appreciated! Note that getting food at either stop is on your own so budget your time or bring your own food. I highly recommend this tour!

Buckingham great tour!

We had a fantastic Buckingham Palace tour, made even better by the walk down The Mall. Our guide was excellent, knowledgeable, engaging, and full of interesting facts about the history and royal traditions. The tour was well organized and informative, and the walk provided great views and photo opportunities. Highly recommended for anyone visiting London.

Top stop!

We arrived at 9:30 when they opened (a very short line) and went directly to the Crown Jewels. We missed the “Disneyland” like queue and went right in……and then went out and through again. We then backtracked towards the entrance and joined a yeomans’s tour. The White Castle is not hyped enough! There are lots of steps but a lift is available. Armor and weapons and many things my husband loved. Crowns for me. Armory for him. Kids in there were totally absorbed. Not a quiet museum but a place for the kids to wander. Views from inside towards the tower bridge were fantastic. We old folk didn’t do the climb up the walls but, again, the kids were loving it! This would be a great family friendly stop!

If you don't Cruise you lose!

This was a great experience and worth the money. We got off at Greenwich and had lunch at the Trafalgor restaurant. Food was great! True fish and chips! Not a fan of their mushy peas. Looked through the Mariner museum and them back to Westminster. It was a wonderful day!!

Places we will never forget

It was one of the best experience for us, unfortunately we could not get in Windsor Castle because we went on a day it was not open. The trip was excellent, the guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable, a trip to remember indeed. Stonehenge was amazing and an unbelievable place, worth visiting

Marie was an excellent tour guide. i recommend for anyone staying in London to take this tour. it is a Full Day so be prepared. The Stonehenge Tour can be downloaded to your phone (do this at the visitor center if you don’t have wifi). The Roman Bath House was very unique. Very nice shops and eateries as well.

Best Tour/Guide Ever!

We have been on many tours like this all over the world. This was the best we have experienced. Our guide, Dan, was brilliant, he knew all about the many sites we visited and conveyed mountains of information (history, architecture, art, commerce, social structures, restaurant recommendations) to us in a friendly, very easy to understand manner. He kept us engaged as we walked miles around the area, including a very thorough tour of Westminster Abbey. The only downside is that guides on future tours we take will not be as good as Dan.

The tour was wonderful and I learned so many interesting facts. It’s an early morning start, but well worth the time. I don’t think I could make it any better on my own. Miguel - our family!

Honestly - the highlight was our bus driver “Miguel”. From the beginning he made everyone feel welcome and provided a family friendly environment and an entertaining bus ride over to be studio. He was well presented in a suite and made sure to greet everyone who entered the bus. The studio was also good, tour is interactive and lots of insight into the movie and behind the scenes. It is a quite long, can easily spend up to 4 hours there. Pricing of food and gifts was a bit much, which is to be expected of a major tourism attraction.
