We had the best guided with Julia and Norris. Julia was so friendly and informative sharing stories and history along our boat ride. We enjoyed two stops and it was very easy to find them at the end of the visit. Appreciated the tips of places to check out and of course the swim was fantastic. We had a great day with Antonio who couldn't have been more helpful. Full of useful local knowledge. Took us to a fabulous cafe in Minouri, a restaurant in Scala with unbelievable views of Ravello, a boat trip from Amalfi and a return journey with amazing views of Vesuvius. Highly recommended.

A perfect Day

By taking this tour there was no wasted time - the route was curated to take in as much as possible. We were at least 2 hours walking and the place is amazing ... when shown our route at the end of our tour we were fascinated to see how little area we had covered but we were satisfied with what we saw. Some reviewers say you only need see either Pompeii or Herculaneum but we say that you need to see both. They are different

I would do it again

It went fast, but we covered a lot of Pompeii. Our guide covered all the necessary stops including the men's baths, the gymnasium, we went by the women's baths, saw a bakery where bread was found still in the oven. She covered the need for the raised crossing stones and we whizzed through the museum. We also saw the main piazza. It was a good tour but I wish I could've wandered around a bit. I didn't get to see the bakery with the suggestive mosaic, which I wanted to see, but overall it was really good.

Perfect way to see Amalfi coast in a day

I only had a day to spare and wanted to see the Amalfi coast while I was in Italy and this was the perfect way to see it. Mary shared so much history with us during the drives and was very engaging with the tour group. I had plenty of time in each town to shop and pick up souvenirs. Guido was Great!

We saw everything that we wanted to. The car was roomy, safe, and our tour guide was knowledgeable. Guido communicated via What's App to find us at our cruise port. It was important to see Pompeii and Viator worked with us to re-book a tour vs. cancel due to an unscheduled car repair. I am grateful.

Best way to see the coast

We fit about 12 people on the twin screw 30-35 ft boat and were out from 9am until 4:30pm. They provided great Hors d'oeuvre, prosecco, and Limoncello. We saw the majority of the Amalfi coast, stopping to swim 4-5 times along the way. They also pulled the boat into a restaurant just north of Amalfi (Ristorante La Tonnarella) for lunch/beach and it was perfect. Captain Max and first mate Pepe were excellent and made sure everyone was happy.

Just book it already!

Giovanni thought of everything to make this private boat tour one of the most memorable travel experiences of our lives! From prosecco to beach towels and limoncello to amazing caves....the day is the perfect mix of relaxation and frantic picture taking. He was considerate of our input on where he pointed us to go for lunch, provided thoughtful insight on local history and took pretty good group photos!
