We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our tour of the Colosseum! I was traveling with my two parents, and it was our highly anticipated first activity in Rome. Our tour guide was incredibly professional, but what truly blew us away was his compassion and empathy. As we approached a particularly steep hill, our guide immediately noticed my parents and took the time to gently let them know about the terrain ahead. Instead of rushing the group, he showed amazing kindness by offering them a comfortable place to sit and rest until we reached the Colosseum. This thoughtful gesture completely saved our day and made my parents feel deeply respected and cared for. His wonderful attitude and willingness to problem-solve made our first experience in Rome unforgettable. I really enjoyed the tour...

I really enjoyed the tour with our guide, Dan! He shared lots of fun anecdotes and interesting stories about the monuments we visited, which made the experience even more enjoyable. He also took us to some lesser-known, quieter parts of Rome that we probably wouldn’t have discovered on our own. It was a lovely way to experience a different side of such a busy city. Highly recommend!

Perfect first day intro to Rome

Perfect first day introduction to the beautiful city of Rome. Our tour guide Anna was knowledgeable, personable and fun to spend a few hours with as we walked around the historic city center. I highly recommend the small group tour as they were so many times we weaved in and out of giant crowds with groups of 40 people with one tour guide holding a flag or umbrella, trying to keep their audio earbuds in while we they attempted to see over the masses of other people in their group. Anna gave us some great recommendations for places to go and see, and was quite knowledgeable about food and directed us to the best gelato shop ever!

Our tour guide was full of the richness of history from ancient Roman to Christian history and woven them together beautifully. Great guide. The big stone walk along the Arian way might be difficult for some wiry mobility issues but doable if you watch your step.

One of the Highlights of our trip to Rome!

My daughter and I had a fantastic time on this food tour in Rome. We were able to sample a wonderful variety of foods and wines, and everything we tried was delicious. Our guide, Arvin, was absolutely wonderful. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and so much fun. He created an enjoyable atmosphere and made the entire group feel welcome. Best guided tour

Favi (sp?) led an outstanding tour of the Colosseum, Forum, arena floor, and Palatine Hill — knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about history. Our first stop was walking through the stadium entrance onto the arena floor — very dramatic, goosebump-inducing, as if you yourself were a gladiator and you could hear the stadium roar. Favi wove in rich historical context at every stop, sprinkled in current Roman anecdotes where appropriate, and thoughtfully guided us to shade before diving into each site's story, which made a big difference starting just after 3pm in the heat. Honestly, without a guide like Favi, it's just a pile of ancient rocks — she brought it all to life. Highly recommend if you want a smart, fair, and genuinely engaging tour of these sites. She was the best tour guide I had across all guided tours I took on this Italy trip. Highly recommend!

Coliseum/Roman Forum guided tour

No complaints! Meeting point was different than described in email (directions made it sound like you were going into the subway to meet on the second floor when actually you meet outside on the street). Our guide was AWESOME! Highly recommend you ask for Georgia! She was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. Also recommended the best pizza restaurant for lunch- best meal we had while in Rome!

Trastevere with TONE

The food and locations were great, the wine was delicious and flowing, and made new friends from across the globe- but the real stand out was our tour guide TONE, who went out of her way to make sure we had an amazing time, even after a bumpy start since the company sent the wrong meeting spot. I would love to do another tour with her- deep knowledge of wine and food pairings, fun chat while walking around to the locations and just an over all amazing young lady.

Perfect for the summer

The experience was very enjoyable. I got to discover new information about the history of Rome , both ancient and modern (with a focus on the ancient as the title suggests), through our excellent guide Joan. He was informative and friendly and made us all feel at ease. Hearing about the history helped me understand this city much better so I would recommend this tour. Also this part of rome is magical at night especially if you want to avoid the heat and the crowds.

Sharon is the best tour guide we’ve ever had
