Fabio is the Best!!!!!

Absolutely wow! The sites were incredible, the 5pm timing was smart to avoid the summer heat, and the gelato was delicious. But I need to talk about our guide Fabio. He was absolutely spectacular. He was EXTREMELY informative but balanced the education with an extensive amount of humor. This man knew everything about everything from the name of the water spouts to the precise date of literally everything. We even learned about the drama between famous sculptors! You think you’re going to learn something? Get ready. You will learn so much more than you ever thought about Rome. Fabio took such great care of us and with all that I learned, I feel like an expert on Rome. A huge thank you to City Wonders for the extensive tour communication before the tour itself, and a HUGE thank you to the man, the myth, and most importantly the legend Fabio.

Colosseum Experience

Our expert-guided tour of the Colosseum was very well organized and enjoyable. We were part of a small group, which made it easy to stay engaged and explore all the included areas at a comfortable pace. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts and important details about the Colosseum’s history and surrounding archeological dig site. Overall, it was an informative and memorable experience. Note if you're in a wheelchair or carrying a stroller, the site is not very accessible - but otherwise great experience.

One Step Back...Two steps forward.

We were not able to use this particular experience. The Colosseum closed at that time. We were booked with a group called Carpe Diem with a small group. Our tour guide (Sushi) was AMAZING. She was informative and charming and we felt like we got all the best information. We were able to avoid lines and large crowds and we enjoyed every minute.

Loved this tour. It was a very hot day, but our guide, Heather, met the mood of the day, and gave us great advice for staying comfortable and safe. An avalanche prevented us from going to Positano, but our time in Sorrento was just right for us. Heather's recommendations for food and drinks were fabulous, and she struck a great balance on between telling us about the area and giving people a chance to rest. Her charm and enthusiasm carried the day, along with the expertise of our driver, Enrico, who navigated those narrow Sorrento roads skillfully.

Informative and engaging tour!

Extremely informative; we would definitely have missed out on so much of the history without our wonderful guide. She talked us through everything and really brought the Colosseum, Palitine Hill and Forum to life. I’m ashamed to say I cannot remember her name correctly but we were thoroughly impressed with not only her vast knowledge but also her engaging delivery. A fantastic tour and I would absolutely recommend. We were in group 2 (red stickers) on the 8.30am tour on 26th July.

Zara is the best guide! Must book a tour

Our family planned a family trip and one of the must things to do was visit museum, chapel and the church. Zara was our guide and did an amazing job. She gave a full explanation of each site we went to and was patient with our slow family members who couldn't walk fast. We truly appreciated her and the full team who were assigned to our group. I recommend this tour and Zara as a guide. Hope to visit Rome again and book another tour, thank you so much!

Great tour with Cashia

Cashia was a wonderful tour guide. She was there on time and very professional and courteous. She gave recommendations to dining and answered all of our questions. The walk is not too bad. She takes many stops in the shade and talks about the spot. We had enough time at each spot. You go inside one really pretty church which you should cover your shoulders in. You can see the outer ring of the trevi fountain. It does not include the 2 euro entrance fee to the inner ring. There is a 15 minute stop at the Trevi fountain so you have time to grab a gelato if you want to very good tour to learn some history and see a few sites.

Great tour for those short on time or who need suggestions on what to do

Dan was a great tour guide. I rate on a few things. Pace was great with enough time to get the photos. He was easy to understand and follow. And finally his knowledge about the city was top notch.. As a teacher its important that the guide offers accurate information with a mix of local legends and he was so great at balancing the two. Would definitely recommend this tour.
