Matthew, our tour guide was very engaging. Interesting and shared a lot of information. I lived in Chicago all my life and have never seen the inside of these treasures or heard the stories behind them. Highly recommend this tour.
Fun tour seeing the wonderful art deco lobbies of many Chicago buildings. Great guide, full of energy and well-informed with Chicago facts.
Architectural interiors in the Loop were wonderful works of art. Our tour guide was Annie - very knowlegable about the buildings we visited plus told some interesting side stories. She also gave us some tips about a neighborhood and museum that we were visiting the next day. Well worth your time.
Do this walking tour FIRST! Angel pointed out so many interesting things to see that I wish I’d gone on this tour at the beginning of my visit to Chicago so I could have returned to some places to spend more time. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour w Angel.
We took the Chicago interior architecture tour with Angel. Her knowledge of the architecture was excellent, and she shared a lot of genuinely interesting history about the buildings.Unfortunately, her commentary frequently crossed into unprofessional territory. She brought up an odd animosity toward New York on six separate occasions, repeatedly venting about how NYC gets it wrong and framing Chicago as a second-rate city. The tour took an even stranger, highly awkward turn when she insisted that the StayPineapple hotel was exclusively for swingers. When we mentioned we were staying there and hadn't seen that, she doubled down—confusing general hospitality branding with the "upside-down pineapple" folklore. When we gently tried to clarify, she refused to listen and got visibly red in the face about it. To top it off, she openly admitted she was extending the tour to the Chicago Cultural Center solely because she "gets better tips" when she takes people there. It was a bizarre and uncomfortable experience that overshadowed her actual architectural knowledge.
I highly recommend the Secret Interiors Architectural tour. We attended as a multi-generational family group with ages ranging from 23 to 79, and every single one of us had a wonderful time. The experience was engaging for everyone, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. Thank you, Talia, for such a memorable experience!

Loved seeing all the architecture buildings and some beautiful inside ceilings. Our tour guide Angel was great except one thing. At one of the sights she mentioned “the Thanksgiving lie” between the native Americans and pilgrims. I found that very offensive and not historically accurate.
We had an absolutely fantastic walking tour of Chicago with Talia, and she was simply brilliant! She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, friendly, and brought the city’s history to life with fascinating stories, fun facts, and plenty of personality.
Talia has a wonderful way of making history feel exciting rather than like a lecture. She kept us interested and entertained throughout, and you could really tell how passionate she is about Chicago. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and she made the whole experience feel relaxed, personal, and genuinely enjoyable.
If you’re visiting Chicago, I would highly recommend booking a Viator walking tour with Talia. She’s an exceptional guide and made our time in the city even more memorable. Five stars without hesitation — Talia was fantastic!

Surprising and unexpected- beautiful decor inside buildings I would have walked past.
Talia was funny and knowledgeable and knew how to keep the 25 of us together, safe and entertained, complete with interesting stories about the architecture and the architects!
This tour eye opening.
Unfortunately the Saturday afternoon time slot didn't allow our group to enter 2 of the premier building interiors we were looking forward to seeing, Rockery and Board of Trade. There was no back up locations or photos provided and our tour ended 15-20 minutes early. Guide, Angel, was informative, but didn't wait for full group to catch up/regroup at times resulting in us missing out on what was said. We experienced many tours and having audio aids and a guide with company logo shirt and/or flag to follow improved the experience. Would recommend to others on a weekday when buildings are available to actually view.
Great 2 hour walking tour with brief restroom break. Encompasses at least 5 building interiors with great details about exteriors of buildings too! We saw several Tiffany works and a variety of architectural styles. I would highly recommend it.
Excellent tour- we saw interiors of beautiful buildings and learned about the history of the city. This is a 2 hour tour, well worth your time.
This was a great walking tour and Grant, our guide, was excellent. Superb knowledge and enthusiasm and answered all questions from the whole group. Some wonderful buildings and interiors viewed providing a great insight into the Art Deco architecture of Chicago. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. Contact from Grant prior to the tourcwas also very helpful to confirm time and location.
Mike was really great. We had a good time learning about Chicago history and the beautiful places we were taken to.
