Knowledgeable, Engaging, and Fun
Harry was a fantastic guide. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable about Bonaventure Cemetery’s history, the symbolism on its gravestones, the lives of the individuals buried there, and local burial traditions, but he was also fun and engaging. His enthusiasm and storytelling brought the cemetery’s rich history to life and made the tour both informative and enjoyable.

A Savannah Must-do
Transportation provided was key. Clean, cool, well maintained mini bus. Tour itself was a lovely blend of history and local legend. The cemetery is massive, and a self guided tour would have been overwhelming unless you wanted to spend an entire day. This was just right! There was plenty of time for photos, but we got to see quite a bit. A definite must do if you love to immerse in local culture.

Tour guide Tim was very...
Tour guide Tim was very knowledgeable and fun. The van was clean, air conditioned, and Tim had cold bottled water for us. This ended up being one of our favorite adventures during our 5 day stay, and we did one or two each day. Bonaventure should not be missed.
