We expected this to be a small group but were pleasantly surprised when told it was a private tour. Barbara was an exceptional communicator, with excellent English and deep knowledge. She moved at a brisk pace but allowed us to slow down whenever it was needed. She even gave my wife time in the gift shop (is this really a positive? 😁) before moving to the next section of the tour. The afternoon had rain in middle of the tour but we had all come prepared with rain gear, so soldiered on. Pro tip: let them know what you are wearing so they can more easily find you before the tour begins.

Fantastic Fiat Adventure!

This was the most fun trip! Highly recommend! Driving through Rome in a convertible Fiat is an experience everyone should have! The drivers are soooo fun, we laughed the entire time and the photos they took were perfect! Amiel was our driver and he is such a vibe!

Early morning tour worth it!

Wonderful tour with engaging, knowledgeable guide. Meet up and check in at their office was easy. Early morning tour worth it as allowed more space in rooms to see everything. Really need a tour to explain the artwork or you’ll just be passing by not knowing the full story. Beat the big rush to the Sistine Chapel and enjoyed the tour of St. Peter’s Basilica. Worth the money. Highly recommend.

Wonderful tour, worth every penny!

This was a wonderful, small group, tour. Amazing access to the inside lower level of the coliseum. Wonderful tour through Palentine Hill also. Our tour guide, Janina, was so very knowledgeable and her background in archeology was extremely helpful. She was witty and made the tour fun as well as educational! Throughly enjoyed our time on this tour and it was worth every penny!!

Excellent Tour with Elisa D

Excellent private, early access tour today with Elisa D! She is extremely knowledgeable about the Vatican tours and has a wealth of interesting and unusual information. She uses time wisely with advance details about the tour and the Sistine Chapel and is very adept at knowing which way to go, which highlights to see, and which order to use for important skip-the-line opportunities. Having a guide is a must and going early with Elisa D brought an extremely valuable perspective to my experience.

Great experience. We did it with a 1 year old. Second time doing it too

We did this tour two years ago with a different company but we still had an equally good experience. We had such a good time the first time we knew we would enjoy it a second time. This time we had a 1 year old with us. You’ll need a diaper bag with everything. Top off the baby before you leave your hotel. Small group tours are the way to go. We took a compact/foldable stroller as well as a chest baby carrier. The foldable stroller was for just before entering the museum and after leaving the basilica. It sucks carrying it through 90% of the tour but completely worth it afterwards. The chest carrier was necessary. You don’t want to have to use your arms to hold your child for 3 hours. Right before entering the sistine chapel there are bathrooms to top off the baby again and do a diaper change. This tour is doable with babies but it will be challenging. Absolutely worth it. Our tour guide was very accommodating. She had a great attitude and was very knowledgeable.

We were supposed to be...

We were supposed to be with a group but we were the only two that booked the tour. Or sommelier Alex did not cancel and gave us a a private experience we will never forget. He had so much knowledge and taught us so much about pairing the right wine with each course. The restaurant was wonderful and he took us on a tour of the ancient bath house in basement now a wine seller. The wine was wonderful and the food did not disappoint. I was so thankful that Alex did not cancel because we were the only people signed up, we had another tour do that and it was very disappointing after booking so far in advance. This was one of our hi lights in Rome!
