Colosseum Tour review
The tour of the Colosseum was incredibly good and seeing into the past, over 2000 years ago. Our tour guide Salvatore was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and very patient with a very large group. We enjoyed spending our afternoon with him and learning so much about the history of the Colosseum. I would highly recommend Salvatore to anyone looking for a tour guide.

Must do trip from Rome!
Tour through CityWonders. Meeting point was clear and easy to find. Antonino was our guide he was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and organized. The pizza lunch was incredible! Our Pompei tour guide was also very knowledgeable. This tour was the perfect overview of Pompei (about 1hr40min) and mount Vesuvius (about 1hr 30min total). Definitely wear athletic clothes and gym shoes! Bus ride is long but comfortable & air conditioned. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Great tour for a day trip from Rome :)
FANTASTIC TOUR! The guides were lovely, knew a lot of historical facts, the cool restaurants, where to take the best “insta” shots and were genuine people. The tour is a bit pricy but it is so worth it. It is about 2-3 hours one way, however there is a stop along the way for food and toilets. I did the pompeii and sorrento option and do NOT regret it, such a magical place. Shoutout ORIO 💪

The Eternal City is filled with enough attractions to keep travelers busy sightseeing for days, weeks, or longer. But tear yourself away from Rome on a day trip, and you’ll uncover a world of sights beyond the capital. From the ruins of Pompeii and beaches of the Amalfi Coast, to Tivoli’s historic estates and medieval and Renaissance-era highlights of Tuscany, you’ll find plenty of worthwhile options to justify a day’s absence from Rome. In addition to choosing your day trip spot, you can pick the mode of transport that suits you best—train, private car, boat, or bike.
