What are people saying about Rome

Well done
This tour really exceeded my expectations. However, I wish we had done it in the morning because there was so much to see and we would have enjoyed it more if we hadn’t spent the morning also touring other sites. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and very engaging. Everyone really enjoyed the tour.

A hidden gem
We did three tours with Viator. This was the only one that gave detailed instructions on where to meet with a picture of the location. This tour is a hidden gem. If you have time I highly recommend it. The history of the old villa is amazing. The home and gardens are absolutely stunning! You could spend hours there to explore and enjoy the spectacular views and water falls.

Amalfi Coast
Terrific taste of the Amalfi Coast. Be prepared for a long day but very enjoyable. Our guide Sarah was very knowledgeable, gave extra little insights into what to do, food tips etc and was super patient especially when some participants threatened to ruin the experience with their selfishness!

This tour provides the foundation of all things Roman
If you are a first time visitor to Rome, the Colosseum is a must see, if you have any interest in the history of the Roman Empire. By taking this tour, you learn the truth about this sports venue, not what you may have been shown in movies! The architecture alone will impress you, even if the size doesn't, not to mention the centuries that it has stood. Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum adds context to everything that Rome is today, and you will gain an even greater appreciation for the city and people of Rome!

Not seeing something you are looking for?

The Eternal City is filled with enough attractions to keep travelers busy sightseeing for days, weeks, or longer. But tear yourself away from Rome on a day trip, and you’ll uncover a world of sights beyond the capital. From the ruins of Pompeii and beaches of the Amalfi Coast, to Tivoli’s historic estates and medieval and Renaissance-era highlights of Tuscany, you’ll find plenty of worthwhile options to justify a day’s absence from Rome. In addition to choosing your day trip spot, you can pick the mode of transport that suits you best—train, private car, boat, or bike.
