Super pretty
We stopped at plenty of different waterfalls including some of the lesser traveled. Bring a light rain jacket in case you’d like to go down by one of the waterfalls and take pics. I went on a Sunday and our van was only half full.

Rob had so much information about the Portland area and its history. We stopped at several waterfalls that were beautiful. The information on the state parks and waterfalls was interesting. Very nice tour.

Great way to see some nature while staying on Portland
Great experience! Our tour guide, Rob was super knowledgeable and had some good jokes. Love the ease of pick up and drop off at our hotel.

Portland
Latourell Falls cascading through the lush forest, Portland.
  • The area can be misty and rainy, particularly in winter, so come prepared with sturdy shoes, warm layers, and a waterproof jacket.
  • Though some of the trails were damaged during the 2017 Eagle Creek Fire, the area is generally safe and open to visitors.
  • If you’re planning a speedy visit, you might not even need to get out of the car—some portions of the falls are visible from the Historic Columbia River Highway.
  • A paved ramp extends from the on-site parking lot to a viewpoint of the falls, offering a viewing option for visitors with limited mobility.
