Get on a UTV to do some self-guided exploration of the Black Canyon desert in Arizona. You’ll get to do the driving, after a safety briefing before you go. Up to 4 people can ride in the UTV. It’s a 3 hour experience with one hour to check in, and 2 hours to train and go ride through the mountainous and desert landscape. Helmet, goggles, and face mask are all set up for you to use. This is an off-road trip through Four Peaks Wilderness Area. We will be passing Saguaro Lake and entering sandy rolls of through Pobrecito access point. The remainder of the trip will be spent in the Four Peaks Wilderness area which brings you past many different types of landscapes (Huge Boulders, Giant Cactus, Smooth Rocks and Big Desert Washes). The Trip takes 6 hours depending on road conditions and passenger preferences. Four Peaks is an area of the Tonto National Forest. There is a good chance of seeing desert animals such as: horses, coyotes, javelina, and snakes. The peak is much cooler in temperature than Pheonix. You will need to bring a coat or jacket. In the winter there is a good chance there will be snow on the peaks.

Fun!

Fun! If you have not kayaked before its a long trip but worth it. Saw 2 herds of wild horses and some vultures. The view was beautiful and the river was the perfect temp. We went at 9 and the heat was more than bearable and there was a nice breeze. Definitely recommend the earlier times. Staff were great, water was provided at the beginning and end of the trip.

ATV Blast in the Desert

We went on an off road sunset dessert side by side adventure. Wow, what a blast! Three side by sides, driven by three couples, followed our guide, Don, on a 2 hour drive into the desert. We hit every type of terrain you can think of - it was so fun. We stopped twice, and the last stop was at sunset. Just gorgeous! I had never driven a side by side off road like that. If you like thrills, this is your adventure. Don was an incredible guide - patient with novices like us, kind, and trustworthy. TIPS: you get dirty, pee before you get to the adventure.

I had an awesome trainer. I didn’t know it was going to be nothing but rocks and was really nervous about going down the hill, but my trainer said I did great so it was a great experience. I definitely will be back. I wanna try their harder trails. Your trainer is there the whole entire time so you really don’t have nothing to worry about but it was my first time on an ATV. So there’s our check-in time so that your whole training session I didn’t know that was gonna be my whole training session so I didn’t get there after check-in started, but I still got a great deal of training in and then to ride by myself. ❤️😍👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Amazing time

The experience was absolutely amazing. My husband and I were in town for a business meeting and decided to celebrate out anniversary. The shooting experience before the UTV ride was so much fun. The staff Matt and other were amazing with explaining everything and ensuring everyone's safety. Rode all the way up the mountain in time to watch the sunset and take pictures. A must do! Go ahead and book you will not be disappointed. Only tip: be sure to drive or have a ride scheduled for pickup. It's hard to get Lyft or Uber in the middle of rather desert ( not the business fault. Just lesson learned). Have fun.

fun ride in the desert!

we were originally supposed to take the morning ride, but the operator asked if we’d be willing to switch to the sunset tour…so glad we did! the views were gorgeous and our guides were so informative about the desert. they were patient, willing to take pictures, and overall made sure the experience was safe and enjoyable. be ready for the dust!!
