Fabulous tour! We started collecting breakfast in the spice market where we saw & learned about the significance of each item. We had tea & Turkish delights. We made stops for cheese, olives, breads, meats and more — all fresh & local. Almost forgot our Turkish coffee! We had a fantastic breakfast then continued to learn & eat. Great lunch, then pickled items, then mussels, then thin Turkish pizza & yogurt drink, and lastly ice cream with baklava & a wonderful warm drink. This is incomplete and the exact names are missing, but a wonderful day with amazing food. Our guide Asli was amazing — she’s a superstar. Knowledgeable, great English and personable.

Best way to spend your time in Ephesus!

This was such an amazing experience! It was just my husband and I - so very private and personal. We felt so VIP in the beautiful luxurious van with cold beverages and a fantastic driver and our expert guide, Yusuf, was top notch. The sights were incredible, lunch was delicious, and the carpet weaving demo was exceptional - not every food we feel pressured to purchase one. It so be one of our highlights for sure!! The tour with our guide Jon (Can) was a fantastic day of culture, food and gaining an understanding of the day to day lives of locals. The tour itinerary never felt rushed and was completely flexible to our particular interests. Jon was so knowledgeable and a great communicator which really made the experience so enjoyable. This tour is a must do if you really want to walk away with a depth of understanding of the major attractions.

Unforgettable experience with Captains Izzet and Ibrahim!

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Turquaz Balloons from start to finish. The service was seamless right from the beginning: the shuttle picked us up directly from our hotel and brought us to the launch site, where a light breakfast was waiting for us. Watching the crew set up and inflate the giant balloon was a treat in itself. Once we were helped into the basket, Captains Izzet and Ibrahim took us on a flight we will remember for a lifetime. The views over Cappadocia were incredible! A major highlight was when they expertly navigated down into the valley so we could get an up-close look at the Göreme Open Air Museum—ironically the one site we missed on our tour the previous day, so it was a fantastic surprise. Captains Izzet and Ibrahim were professional, knowledgeable, polite, and hilarious. They kept us fully informed on what they were doing, explained how hot air balloons operate, and educated us on all the landmarks below. After landing, they celebrated with cake, champagne, and orange juice for non-drinkers, followed by a medal and flight certificate ceremony. The shuttle then dropped us back at our hotel hassle-free. I couldn't recommend Turquaz Balloons and their fantastic pilots enough!

Great experience

Very friendly and timely responses to all my inquiries. Driver and pilot were professional and cheerful. The experience was well organised and ran to perfection. Competitive prices for prefect experience. The location was central with many most of the balloons in the Göreme area. Altitude was high and climbed twice. Then low on the valley before landing without an issue.

First Trip to Istanbul

We were a mixed-aged small group of 6 individual pairs from a cruise ship for a tour of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Basilica Cistern. Meeting place near the port by the clock tower was extremely convenient. Our tour guide Elif explained we would be taking the tram R/T - cost of which was included in the tour price - to Sultanahmet Square (5 stops) where our initial tour began. Elif gave great historical background to each site visited, she paced the tour comfortably for all members of the group. Tour was not rushed. Elif encouraged questions and was very responsive to any needs of the group. She was humorous, engaging and considerate. She made maneuvering through the various sites comfortable and advised us what to expect at each site. We very much enjoyed our tour and highly recommend her and this tour itinerary.

Ephesus and Terraced Houses

Our guide, Ogun, was excellent! He was warm and welcoming from the start and provided us with a wide range of information as we travelled to Ephesus and the temple of Artemis! The latter only consists of a single column but still worth seeing the locations where the earlier Ephesus cities were sited. Our tour of Ephesus included the terrace houses which was definitely worth doing. On site Ogun guided us at a good pace, answered questions, and looked after the group really well. He was able to paint a good picture of what life was like during this period. The amphitheater is currently closed due to remedial works to stabilise the structure so can only be viewed externally from a distance. Ephesus is always going to be a busy site with visitors but that is something you just have to accept.

The Traditional Performances Made the Night

This was such a fun and memorable way to spend an evening in Istanbul. The Bosphorus views were beautiful, the atmosphere was lively, and having a private table made the experience feel even more comfortable and enjoyable. One of my favorite parts was the traditional dancing during dinner. The performances were so much fun to watch and really made the night stand out. It added a cultural element to the cruise that made the experience feel more special than just having dinner on the water. The staff was also very nice and helped make the evening enjoyable from start to finish. Between the food, the traditional performances, the atmosphere, and the nighttime views of Istanbul, this was a really nice experience and one I would definitely recommend.

Great experience

Everything was very well planned and it was a smooth experience. They picked us up at the exact time they mentioned and once we got to the site our balloon was ready for us to get in the basket. Our pilot was super nice and funny and made our flight very nice. The views were breathtaking of course and an amazing once in a lifetime experience. They had a great price and excellent staff. There's nothing better and than a dedicated guidee

Our guide, Forkan, was knowledgeable, patient, and is passionate about Turkish history. As a result, the tour was interesting and engaging in a fun way. There were one or two things that warned exactly as I understand it wasn't presented in any offensive way, and I highly recommend the tour. It was truly a nice experience.

An enjoyable experience

The trip lived upto expextations. The constant flow of snacks and the helpful crew made this an enjoyable experience and one that I would happily recommend to others. The cruise vessel was spotlessly clean and well maintained too. The person providing the commentary perhaps was a little too talkative maybe that could be improved. Less inane chatter. Point out the things of interest and not much more.
