Excellent experience - highly recommended!

We did the 1-day private walking tour with Hilal. For our first visit to Istanbul, having a private guide was definitely the right choice. Hilal was not only super knowledgeable about all the sites, history, and how to get around the narrow and complex streets, she tailored the stops based on our interests and where we wanted to spend more time. She is cheerful, super friendly, and clearly passionate about showing off what Istanbul has to offer. She also gave us a recommendation for an amazing rooftop restaurant where the food and the views were both excellent. We enjoyed our time in Istanbul thanks to Hilal!

Excellent tour of Ephesus

We had an outstanding day with Filiz touring the House of Mary and Ephesus. She was super organized, extremely knowledgeable, and made the trip stress-free. The House of Mary was peaceful and moving, and Ephesus was absolutely fascinating and beautifully preserved. A memorable experience and one of the highlights of our trip to Turkey. Ozzy was an absolutely fantastic tour guide! Our ALL INCLUDED Ephesus Ruins & Mary’s House tour was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment the tour started, Ozzy made everything easy, organized, and stress-free, especially with all entry tickets included. His knowledge of the history and culture of Ephesus was incredible, and he explained everything in such an engaging and enjoyable way. You could really tell he is passionate about what he does. He also made sure everyone was comfortable, answered all questions, and gave us plenty of time to enjoy each location without ever feeling rushed. Mary’s House was beautiful and peaceful, and seeing the Ephesus ruins with Ozzy’s explanations truly brought the site to life. If you are visiting the area, I highly recommend booking with Ozzy — you will have an amazing experience!

Great tour to the most interesting places in Instanbul. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered any questions. We were a small group and she kept us together and skip the line was great. She recommended a few restaurants in the area as well. Great tour for a few hours of the day.

Worth it.

The experience of flying in the air and witnessing Goreme from above was amazing. I wish there was a little more communication during booking around expectations for the morning of. There was a lot of waiting around for such an early pick up. We came to realize that our flight crew was waiting for the go ahead to fly before we departed to the launch place, however we did not know this in the moment and it left us with a feeling of “why did we leave so early if all we are doing is waiting”, Again, it would have helped us to understand what we were doing if it was presented in the welcome email.

Wonderful tour, crowded sites

Our tour guide was awesome and shared so much great information. She navigated the crowds well, kept all participants together and got us to each site in a timely a manner as possible. I give her 5 stars. I believe her company just started using new communication boxes that I didn’t love. They hooked over your ear and held the little speaker close to your ear. Didn’t work great with my husbands hearing aides, and didn’t seem to work well With my glasses either. So, I didn’t love them, but made it work, and again, not the tour leaders fault. Also , crowds were tough. Long lines, even with the skip the line prebought tickets by the tour company. So, just be aware that the tour, which with no lines might take 2 hours, may take you as long as five. Again, not the leader’s fault- she kept a great attitude and navigated through it all as best she could. We were there on a Saturday at the beginning of high season (May 9). She noted the lines can be twice as long as we experienced- so just plan on it. The sites were amazing and not to be missed. You can obviously prebuy tickets and do these sites yourself, but you will miss so much of the history, insider knowledge of best photo spots etc and how to navigate through the crowds. Take the tour and enjoy.

What a fabulous tour

This was better than the first time I went to Ephesus and it’s all because of our guide Eufrates aka Freddy! He was so awesome and very knowledgable. We were met right at the cruise port, on time with a beautiful vehicle awaiting outside. We then drove to the House of the Virgin Mary, then Ephesus, then saw the Pillar of Artemis and finally a fantastic Turkish lunch at a carpet and jewelry factory. The food was delicious and there was no pressure when we said no to the carpets. Now the jewelry also no pressure but it was so beautiful and well priced that yes we each got something to remember our trip by. It was an awesome day!
