Soul Moving

The Sagrada Familia is one of the most soul moving experiences. It is stunning from the outside and it would take a day of observing to discover all that Gaudi put into this basilica but the true brilliance and glory to God to be seen is on the inside. We had an absolutely fantastic experience with this tour operator in Barcelona! The tour was very well organised and covered all the major sights, including Sagrada Família, Park Güell, the Gothic Quarter, La Rambla and Montjuïc. Our guides, Mateo, Vincento and Kiko were very friendly, knowledgeable and engaging, and shared lots of interesting stories and historical facts that made the city come alive. Everything ran smoothly, from the transport to the timing of each stop, and there was enough time to enjoy the sights and take photos. The tour was an excellent way to see the highlights of Barcelona without the stress of planning everything ourselves. I would highly recommend this tour operator to anyone visiting Barcelona, especially first-time visitors. Excellent service, great guide and a memorable experience — 5 stars!

Best tour ever!

The key to this experience is the tour guide. We were fortunate to have Tessa. She teaches at university level about the cathedral and specifically about Antonio Gaudi. She had specific knowledge of every aspect of the spectacular cathedral. We started with the front exterior and she walked through the depictions and symbolism of every figure. Once inside, she did the same, going methodically through the structure of the building, the details of the altar, and the fabulous windows. I highly recommend going at 5 pm on a sunny day to experience the magnificent light shiny through the Murano glass. We continued through the building and she described the higher portions reserved for the orchestra and occasional choirs. She had us stand in specific spots to take photos of images we could never have observed with the naked eye. When we proceeded out the rear of the building she walked through the symbolism of all characters and aspects of the rear exterior. She was more than impressive! If we had known the depth and quality of her knowledge, we would have gladly paid more for the tour!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, with a passionate guide!

First off, VERY EMBARRASSED by the fellow Americans who chose to book this same tour knowing how long it would be, then angrily left 20 minutes into it because they had scheduled another tour before this one was even supposed to end. Truly hope they don't leave a bad review because THIS WAS AMAZING!!! Isabella met us at the KFC, started on time, hooked up our listening aids and from the first minute educated us about what we were seeing. The people who stomped off like toddlers missed out on a great deal of history, respect and knowledge. Learning the hows and whys behind Gaudí's design process and how his legacy has been continued was an amazing reminder of the fact that we all have a purpose in life. Isabella not only taught us about the specifics, but constantly asked if we had any other questions and was genuinely interested in what we wanted to learn. Her passion for Spanish history -- as well as Gaudí's impact -- was palpable. 10/10 would do again. <3

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Sagrada Família Tour with Olga E! Olga E. was an excellent guide! She spoke great English and did a wonderful job explaining the history of the Sagrada Família and, especially, the thought process and vision behind Gaudí’s design and the beginning of its construction. She made the incredible details of the basilica much more meaningful and interesting. We visited with our two kids, and the tour was very informative and engaging for the whole family. Olga was also incredibly thoughtful—it was a very hot August day, and she made sure to stop in areas where anyone who needed a break could sit down and enjoy the fans while she continued explaining the different sections. A fantastic experience and a great way to truly appreciate the beauty and meaning behind the Sagrada Família. Highly recommend Olga E.—5 stars!

Double check your directions if taking metro

The guided tour was great… so much to learn. Our guide was great! Make sure you have the right directions to the right entrance otherwise it will be very frustrating before you even get there. There are a lot of local resident entrances that are used on the navigation maps that cannot be used with this ticket purchase.
