A Must-Do Bergen Excursion with Spectacular Fjord Scenery

This tour was exceptionally well organized, our guide, Stig, was outstanding, and the scenery was simply breathtaking. If you do only one excursion from Bergen, make it this one. Traveling by Mercedes minibus keeps the group small, making the journey comfortable and allowing you to navigate the roads with ease. The undeniable highlight is the two-hour catamaran cruise through Nærøyfjorden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that National Geographic once named the world’s most unspoiled tourist destination. We also enjoyed panoramic views high above Sognefjorden, Norway’s longest fjord and the second longest in the world. In my admittedly uninformed opinion, it’s also the most beautiful. From start to finish, this was a seamless, memorable experience. Between the spectacular landscapes, the knowledgeable guide, and the intimate group size, this tour exceeded our expectations and is one we would recommend without hesitation.

For the price and time commitment, this is a good way to get out of the city and see another side of Norwegian life. Everything went smoothly and on schedule. My only critique is that it seemed overbooked so the boat was crowded and many people sat on the stairs. For that reason, I would recommend getting there early to secure a good seat.

Interesting and extensive fjord siting experience in comfy environment

The boat was comfortable, enough space for everyone to take photos outside, inside seats we’re comfortable, hot and cold drinks and snacks were available, the audio explanations were interesting, the trip went far into the fjords and it gave a good first time fjord siting experience. Staff was very nice and eager to answer questions in multiple languages.

The best experience, Jan was amazing, took us to the best spots, very patient and very accommodating. He was also very knowledgeable of the area and the history. We had the music playing all the way and I was dancing to very tone. He also managed to get us so so close to the waterfalls for me to manage getting my head under it, it was heaven. Amazing experience!

This was a great time. Amazing way to see a lot of sights in a single day. Some tips: dress warm for the fjords. Pack an umbrella. If given an option, do the glam railway and sit on the right side when departing Flam. Pick a window that pulls down so you can get videos with no glass in the way

Majestic Waterfalls and landscape

WOW! The views were amazing throughout the experience. Our boat captain took us right up caves, stopped to view some mountain goats and provided us with great stories about different locations. There had not been much rain so the waterfall was not flowing as strong as it could but the captain took us right up to the falls to get a close up view. The captain warned us there would be choppy waves but the RIB boat was smooth and we cruised through the countryside/fjords with easy. While the boat was going fast, you didn't feel like you were missing any of the incredible scenery

While in Finland and...

While in Finland and Norway, we enjoyed many arctic activities, but this was our favorite. We’re animal lovers and appreciate a thrill, and this offered both. The people were so kind and educated us on how to do the activity properly but also on how they (and more importantly, the pups!) prepare for it. Although it’s not ideal for children, we brought our 7-year-old and they made it safe and fun for all of us. There are lots of husky opps in the north, but this one appears to be one truly caring for the dogs. The dogs seem happy and are so eager to go for a fun run through the beautiful mountain side. I have no interest in a sport that gratifies me but at the same of the health and happiness of an animal, and these guys seem to do such an amazing job that both humans and pups are healthy and happy to be there.

Incredible Experience - Highly Recommend this company (and Harry as your guide)

Absolutely fantastic. It didn't hurt that we had amazing viewing of the northern lights, but Harry, our guide was incredible- super knowledgeable, palpable excitement about the hunt and what we were seeing, walked us through the science of the lights and his process for predicting where to go see them. There were 12 of us in a van for 15 (17 including driver and guide), but we did not feel cramped and it was easy to get in and out. The reindeer sausage, cookies, tea and cocoa were all tasty and appreciated. We experienced some incredible lights and Harry was constantly at the ready to take pro photos of the experience (sent to us that night) so we could concentrate on enjoying the lights rather than fiddling with our cameras. Our tour was listed as 6-8 hours - many others listed were as 6 hour or 6-7 hours. I mention this because a noteworthy moment was close to the six hour mark Harry decided to change locations as our then location was starting to get some clouds - it would have been easy to coast to the six hour point and call it a night, but instead Harry stated we should try another location about 30 minutes away - where we arrived just in time for an incredible "substorm" that floored us all. In my mind it really spoke to their dedication to showing you an incredible experience - no clock watching or cutting corners. Also afterwards everyone was dropped off at their hotels, not just the city center or meeting spot. Simply every element was well done and provided for a great time. Highly recommend!!!!
