What are people saying about Boston

Very nice trip!
I really enjoyed this trip. Jennifer (Jennifah) , our guide, was a hoot! She also clearly loves the Maine coast and that made it even more special.
If they ever want to tweak the tour, I wouldn't mind spending a little time in downtown Ogunquit in exchange for a little less time in Kennebunkport. I just feel like there is more of a variety of things to do in Ongunquit.
Either way, it was a great day trip! This was actually the second time I have taken it,and I am sure to take it again. I live in Boston and could rent a car, but this way I get to enjoy the scenery and relax!

Great day trip especially...
Great day trip especially at this time of year. Well worth going on. Several stops made throughout the day which broke up the long drive. Had excellent tour guide Keith who made she didn’t miss any of highlights. Would definitely do again next time I visit Boston.

Awesome day trip
Such a great time! Our guide, Sam, was awesome, providing us just enough information at each stop without being overly talkative! I would highly recommend this day trip from Boston! My 16 yr old daughter really enjoyed it too! Only thing we agreed we would have liked to be different was to have maybe 30 minutes more in Kennebunkport and then 30 mins less at the last stop, Portland Head Light. We really didn’t need an hour there. 30 minutes would have been enough time.

The Historical Era Beautifully Personified
We experienced this beautiful region of Massachusetts while listening to wonderfully narrated history, local history, and anecdotes as we traveled, walked and explored. 'Thatch' created a pleasant learning environment as he also reflected on his personal Massachusetts upbringing, making history come to life.

Preserved History
If you are interested in African American history in Boston this is the tour. Mehgan did an excellent job and was knowledgeable on the history of AA in Boston. She was very passionate in her tone on the free slaves and their struggles to become free as all humans back in the era. She gave breaks when walking the Beacon Hills area. We enjoyed our private tour due to another group canceled. Lucky for us :-). I would definitely recommend this tour with Mehgan. You will learn alot and be proud of AA history. I'm glad to know that Boston preserved it for generations. Kudos to Boston!!!

You should really book it! You won’t be disappointed.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience on the Newport Small Group Tour from Boston! Two days before the trip, I received a call with detailed information about exactly where we would meet, and everything went exactly as promised. We were greeted at the designated location right on time, given our itinerary, and from there, the entire day ran like clockwork.
A few days earlier, I had taken a small-group tour to Maine that I thought was great—until I took this trip with Chris! Chris was training another guide on the day of our tour, so we essentially got a two-for-one experience when it came to the tour guides. Both were fantastic!
From the historic buildings in Boston to the entire drive into Rhode Island, we learned interesting facts and stories about the landmarks along the way. The trip was incredibly well organized and completely seamless.
Although the tour was about 11 hours long, it never felt overwhelming or too long. The time really flew by because there was always something interesting to see or learn about.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone staying in Boston who wants to take a day trip to Newport and experience the beautiful Rhode Island mansions. Chris and the team did an outstanding job!

Willy our driver was very polite and courteous. He accommodated a pick up of our family at our hotel which isn't a meeting point. He communicated with us throughout and ensured all excursion plans were well coordinated. Excellent experience, great service.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on this all-day tour of the Newport mansions. It was exceedingly enjoyable from start to finish. The mansions were stunning, and the day was perfectly paced.
Our tour guide, Willie, was helpful, informative, and genuinely kind. He made the experience even better with his knowledge and care, and he handled all the transportation to and from Boston safely and smoothly.
If you’re considering a day trip to Newport, this is the one to book. Highly recommended!

Stewie was the guide we were looking for!
We had a great day with Stewie! We have been to Boston many times but wanted to show it off to our 12 year old grandson. We would
recommend that most walk the Freedom Trail. But we are in our 80's and no longer have the stamina to get to some key spots on foot. Stewie has a vast knowledge of the area and filled our need in getting around... Old Ironsides, Harvard and Bunker Hill would have been hard but our grandson enjoyed running up into the monument, boarding the old ship etc because Stewie got us there. Stewie got us there. Lunch was great at Ernesto's in North area. We heard lots of great stories from Stewie and he picked us up at our hotel and was willing to take us to Fenway for our game! He really fit the bill for us and would anyone with mobility problems. Other places along the Freedom Trail might have been better if you can walk as they were more like drive bys but his services fit our needs.
Thanks Stewie!

Great Trip to Salem
It was a great day learning about the history of the Salem Witch Trial. We had a trolley tour and the tour guide on the trolley was excellent driving around the city and listening to the history of Salem. After the trolley we went to the Witch's Museum and learned interesting facts. If you have time, you need to visit the Witch's house too. We had approximately 2 hours for lunch and shopping. I wished we had 2 1/2 hours instead of 2 hours. Afterwards we proceeded to the oldest candy shop in the US. Then we headed to the House of the Seven Gables guided by a tour guide. This was very interesting, especially the hidden staircase in the house! The tour was excellent to learn about the history of the house. I would highly recommend this tour. We were back in Boston by 5:00pm.

Great tour, great guide
The tour hit the key sites as advertised. Jenny was knowledgeable and also attentive to my wife’s health needs and adapted the pace as necessary. She was flexible with the schedule because of the summer heat, and kept the journey interesting and meaningful.

There’s no doubt that there’s a lot to do, see, and learn in Boston, but its prime New England location also makes it the ideal base for adventures beyond the city limits. Boston day trips let you hop over to Martha’s Vineyard, explore Salem’s spooky past, see Newport’s gilded mansions, chase fall foliage in New Hampshire’s White Mountains—or even head to New York for the day. With transportation and tickets taken care of, plus guides who know all the local stories leading the way, you might be surprised at how much you can pack into a day and still be back in Boston by nightfall.
