What are people saying about Boston

Big Al should be everyone's intro to Boston and the Sons of Liberty
I am now a history nerd! It came to life today as a group of six strangers from differnt cities all joined Big Al for the day- a 3-hr walk-about became 6 All fueled by amazing pace and chat about Paul Revere and the Sons of Liberty became a real life dive into what it might have been to live the real seeds of revolution.
The taverns chosen were purposeful. And fun! The walk was great- a clear coverage of Boston proper!
But that no one left promptly at the last stop, spoke volumes.
We will always remember this day when a 3-hr tour became a day full of everything Boston!

Best food, best tour guide
What a fun tour! Delicious food and more than enough to eat. Audrey is an amazing tour guide and really knows the neighborhood and people well. Great way to start our Boston trip and immerse ourselves with the locals. Thank you, Audrey for a truly memorable experience!

The absolute best way to see Boston—Peter is a legend!
If you are looking for the perfect way to see Boston without battling the freezing temperatures, this is it. Our group of four booked this tour on a whim, and it ended up being the highlight of our trip.
The 'warm van' promise was fully kept, but the real star of the show was our guide, Peter. I cannot speak highly enough of him. Often, a three-hour drive can feel long, but Peter kept our attention the entire time. He has an endless supply of fascinating stories and local history that you simply wouldn't get from a guide book. He managed to make the city come alive while we stayed perfectly comfortable.
If you want a tour that feels personal, engaging, and incredibly comfortable, ask for Peter. Worth every cent!

One of the best tours I’ve ever been on
My wife and I book a food tour in every new city we go to. Paula did truly make this one of the best tours we’ve ever been on. She weaved in history with food so effortlessly that I could’ve sat and listened to her wax poetic on north end history all day. The food, unsurprisingly, was also insanely good and everyone we met at the restaurants and shops was so lovely. 10/10 would do again and recommend as THE tour you do in Boston.

Highly recommend this tour
Great tour with fun history, a lot of food and a nice amount of walking around the city. Katie (#102, apparently 2 Katies work for this company) was friendly, knowledgeable and a great guide. She made everyone feel comfortable and provided a lot of fun history facts about the city as well as its food but was not overpowering. The food was great and there was a lot of it. You definitely do not need a meal after this tour and it is coordinated to almost start with an appetizer, the beans and brown bread and end with dessert. The boston cream pie. All of the food was very good and each stop came with history about the food at that location. Katie also mentioned the history of some other restaurants that we didn’t stop at. There is an option to add two beers to your tour ticket and they space it out well. The beers are at stop one and three. There are 4 food stops on this tour. I have done food tours in many cities and this one ranks as one of the best. I will definitely be trying more of their tours.

Peter was an excellent...
Peter was an excellent source of information. You can really tell he loves what he is doing. He answered all questions in depth and with lots of facts to back it up. He is very patient and a funny guy! 8 stars out of 5. Do not hesitate to book his service.

DO THIS! We loved every minute!
This was the absolute best way to see Boston and to put its neighborhoods and landmarks into context. The tour leaders who rode with us were funny, friendly, and engaging, and I felt safe knowing they were looking out for us at intersections. I’m not in perfect biking shape but found it easy to tackle the hills without an e-bike. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this to anyone who wants an active, fun, educational way to understand Boston!

Great history tour by land and water
Although there is a good bit of walking it is manageable since they do not walk very fast and there are numerous stops along the way. Our guide was very informative however it was difficult to hear him at times due to surrounding city noise. A microphone would have been helpful. We tried to stay close to guide so we could hear better. We loved getting to tour the Old North Church and seeing the role it played in the war. We also very much enjoyed the boat tour around the bay,

Fun Food Tour in the South End!
The tour guide gave a great historical as well as food sampling tour of the South End. We had five food stops at unique and popular restaurants/markets, which was more than enough food for both lunch and dinner. In addition to giving 'behind the scenes' stories about the history of the restaurants and how the owners built their way to success, she also gave fascinating stories about the history of South End, individual landmarks and houses, and the cultural shifts from one period of time to another. A lot packed into a few hours!

Everything we were looking for and much more
Our guide Sam was personable, knowledgeable and very accommodating for our large group, plus luggage. We had six passengers and 7 carry on size bags as well as 7 backpacks/underseat duffels. We had more than enough room for everything. Sam took us all over Boston/copley square, commons, beacon hill, back bay, bunker hill, uss constitution, Harvard, Boston university, Cambridge, theater district, financial district, harbor and more. He had a multitude of historical and current facts to share. Sam recommended a great place for lunch. We couldn’t have asked for anything better to fill our time between cruise disembarking and our late flight. We will use Sam again when we come back to Boston.

Great Experience
Outstanding. My family of 4 included two non-beer drinkers and the experience was great for all. Raj was our tour guide and made all the difference. The non-beer drinkers discovered options they could enjoy too. We went three breweries, and Raj was super knowledgeable & hospitable. Thank you!

Great overview of the city of Boston!
Great way to get a real foundational view of the city of Boston. We have been to Boston on numerous occasions and have taken a few tours before. I thought this might be redundant but saw a lot of places I’ve never been to (i.e. ‘Southie’) and stories that I’d never heard. We didn’t want a walking tour and instead got to see a personal tour of Boston in the comfort of an air conditioned car. Well worth the money.
