We had a great time on the trip. The grpup was nice people. Our tour guide Markques made it a lot of fun from the start to the finished with ice breakers and information about the route. The fall foliage was so beautiful in the white mountains. The pictures do not do it justice. It's better to see it in person. I would definitely do this again and recommend it to everyone. I hope you get our tour guide Markques too.

Learned and ton and had fun!

Can’t recommend Alyssa enough. She was so knowledgeable and told the information like a story more than a script. I learned so much. We also laughed a lot and she gave some awesome local food recommendations at the end. We traveled with 2 kids (16 & 8) and they loved it too!

Very nice trip!

I really enjoyed this trip. Jennifer (Jennifah) , our guide, was a hoot! She also clearly loves the Maine coast and that made it even more special. If they ever want to tweak the tour, I wouldn't mind spending a little time in downtown Ogunquit in exchange for a little less time in Kennebunkport. I just feel like there is more of a variety of things to do in Ongunquit. Either way, it was a great day trip! This was actually the second time I have taken it,and I am sure to take it again. I live in Boston and could rent a car, but this way I get to enjoy the scenery and relax!

Absolutely the best tour we had on our trip. Tony is an excellent storyteller and he made every second of the tour interesting. As a long time true crime junkie, I was pleasantly surprised that I had only heard of 2 of the crimes he told us about. Do not skip out on this tour.

Love it, but lantern game is weak

Our guide, Max, was fun as hell. It’s clear he loves what he does! He needs a new lantern though. He was passionate about the tour he led, but the light was dim, I could only rely on his brilliant and bright shining personality to get us from booze to booze. Made some friends in the tour, we are buying haunted Airbnb and now we are bonded for life. Happy haunting. And get all guises a standard issue lantern. The one is Miami and New Orleans were different then Boston. Brand yourselves. But guide, 5 stars.

It was so interesting, informative and delicious!!!! Loved the places we visited and the food/drinks we tasted! Our tour director, Nabil, was so knowledgable but more importantly he was so funny! We also visited a few historical places that were on the walking route. Highly recommend!!!

Very enjoyable yummy tour!

We had the pleasure of taking the Boston Food & History Tour with Nabil, and it was such a wonderful experience! Nabil was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and very knowledgeable about Boston’s history and food culture. We had a little trouble locating the starting point because the street sign had a different name than what appeared on my map. However, if you find the Registry of Motor Vehicles, you’re in the right place! We started at a very interesting bread company, where we got to try some delicious breads and learn about the history of this unique bakery and its bread-making traditions. From there, we stopped at a local grocery & deli, Salumeria, for a sandwich. We made our way to a pizza shop, Galleria Umberto, for a slice of cheese pizza. The pizza was delicious and had such a nostalgic, old-fashioned feel to it. The day we went was extremely hot, but Nabil was very thoughtful and made sure to bring us to shaded areas whenever possible, which we really appreciated. Our last stop was at a wonderful coffee house and pastry shop, Lavazza, where we enjoyed a cappuccino and a cannoli. Both were very good and were the perfect way to finish the tour. Along the way, we visited many historical sites and learned so much about Boston’s history. Nabil did a great job bringing everything to life while making the tour fun and enjoyable. Five hours may seem like a really long tour, the time flies & it does not seem too long. It is perfect! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great combination of delicious food, fascinating history, and a knowledgeable guide. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend Nabil and this tour!

I like the fact that the company has their tour guide represent a person in our colonial history and then, speak about the character's history. Elaina, a.k.a., Mother Goose, was early to greet the tour guests and readily showed enthusiasm for the job and tour. We valued the fact that Elaina was truly a Boston native and enjoyed listening to her personal story as it tied into the tour. The history that she provided at the various stops was not only informative but fascinating. Clearly, her experiences and former jobs in the theater arts lends itself well to being a tour guide that needs to present a lot of historical information and background to the tour guests. I strongly recommend using this tour company for your Freedom Trail Tour. Elaina, thank you for being such a GREAT tour guide!!!
