Guide

I asked the tour guide if I needed ID to see the Gutenberg Bible at the library and he said no I did not need ID. When I arrived at the library the security guard was very rude because I didn't have school ID. This guide also said we can attend certain classes without ID, I don't think that's true either. At the end of the tour the guide said that he is "forced" to end the tour at the Harvard Shop. This guide said he disagreed with this as it is too corporate! I don't recall his name but he was a tall blonde guy, said he was a junior and came here from Russia. That's all I have as a description. Other than what I mentioned above he was a nice man.

Great tour

Just OK

Kemi_B, May 2026
This tour is much shorter than described. Because you’re basically just walking the yard, you can do this tour on your own with a map.

Kayla_R, Apr 2026
Completely exceeded my expectations. I especially loved that it is led by students because it gives you a really accurate representation of campus life there.

Harvard to be

Reldys_T, Apr 2026
Great tour student guide was quite informative and answered all questions. Got a real sense of the experience of a student. Took my daughter and she really enjoyed it. Harvard yard was impressive and full of energy and the explanation on big events was great.

Do it!

Volha_S, Apr 2026
Out tour guy Caleb, who is junior Harvard student made this tour very knowledgeable and full of fun facts about Harvard history. We truly enjoyed, and we recommend this tour for visitors of Boston city.

Fun and educational tour

Megan_F, Mar 2026
Such a fun and informative tour of Harvard. We were shocked by some of the trivia: women couldn’t get Harvard diplomas until WHEN?! Our tour guide, Jonathan, was fantastic and a current Harvard sophomore. We highly recommend it for anyone curious about attending Harvard or just looking to learn more fun facts about its history.

Quick tour. Interesting.

Dolly_N, Mar 2026
There wasn’t any actual address I could find. ’ve read on the internet that web activity including maps system don’t work here in Boston. 3 different mapping systems kept turning me around I couldn’t locate the group quickly enough. Still a nice tour though thanx!

Amazing tour!

Megan_S, Feb 2026
Apple was amazing! She had the best fun facts and made the tour very fun! She inspired me to return to school! Can’t wait to tour again in June!

Real Harvard student tour

fabio_c, Feb 2026
The tour guide is a real Harvard student and was very knowledgeable and had a lot of fun facts and stories to share. It was interesting to hear about her personal experiences going there. She made the tour fun and enjoyable even in the cold. This tour was my favorite thing about my trip to Boston.

Dhillon was great and tour was awesome

Renju_N, Feb 2026
Harvard was already impressive, but this tour with Dillion made it unforgettable. From the moment the tour started, Dillion set the tone with a warm welcome, quick humor, and a deep knowledge of Harvard’s history, traditions, and campus life. He didn’t just recite dates and facts; he told stories that brought the Yard, the iconic buildings, and famous alumni to life, making us feel like insiders rather than just visitors. What really stood out was how engaging he was with everyone in the group—answering questions patiently, giving honest insights about student life, and checking in to make sure no one was left behind or confused. The pace of the tour was comfortable, with plenty of time for photos, quick breaks, and little “hidden gem” spots you’d never find on your own.

Sheri_T, Feb 2026
Dimitri was great with the right amount of information with funny quips in between. Made me want to attend Harvard.

Great for prospective students!

Sherri_H, Jan 2026
Our tour guide, Natalie is a senior concentrating on neuroscience. I went on this tour with my son, who has been accepted to Harvard's neuroscience program, so this was a perfect match for us! Natalie was very knowledgeable about all of the ins and outs and the traditions for Harvard students and was able to share some trade secrets for my son to help him be successful. She was also willing to share her contact info with him in case he had any other questions. It was definitely cold, a but she did a great job of answering questions and taking extra time as needed in different spots along the way.

Good for history, Not so great for college Admissions

JILL_C, Jan 2026
It was "ok". We were definitely a bit disappointed that the tour was conducted entirely outside--at 30 degrees it was super cold--which was understandable, but to have portions indoors would have been nice. We weren't able to enter any of the buildings, see classrooms, or the massive library. The guide was interesting in her presentation, but we were definitely looking at a more in depth look into college life, admissions, etc. For the history of Harvard, it served it's purpose. If you're looking to understand college life, I'd look elsewhere for a tour.

Informative Tour

William_J, Dec 2025
Brisk walking tour around Harvard campus led by one of the students. Perhaps rhe geoup size is slightly too big.

Great Tour all around

Michael_B, Dec 2025
Despite a real-feel temp of 11F, the guide was happy, and sincerely interested in providing a quality tour. Also, we were late for the 11am and the person who met us happily re-booked us for the 11:30 (we were lucky they had openings for the 11:30)
