A fun day riding down the Colorado stopping for lunch on the shore. Our guide Hunter was fabulous! His knowledge of the river was awesome and he made sure we all had a great time. Suggest beach shoes, sunblock and hat with strap - and you will get a bit wet! So fun!

Don’t expect much of a lunch and no bathrooms between put in and return to Moab. Almost the entire trip is flat water with a few little rapids and three or four nice class 2 ones that get you wet. The river scenery is beautiful. Our guide handled the raft well but didn’t add much information about what we were seeing. This trip was Okay but I wouldn’t recommend it with much enthusiasm.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We’re glad you enjoyed the beauty of the canyon and felt comfortable with your guide’s skills on the water. Our guides are consistently 5 star, and they work hard to balance fun, safety, and information on every trip. Sometimes the river itself is the star of the show.
About lunch: we skip the sad, pre-wrapped boxed lunches because, let’s be honest, no one gets excited about a soggy sandwich in plastic. Instead, we put out a fresh spread of meats, cheeses, veggies, hummus, and toppings so you can build your own creation. Guests consistently tell us it’s one great spread.
And you’re right—no bathrooms between the put-in and take-out. That’s part of being in the wilderness, and we do our best to prepare guests for the “true river experience.”

We had a wonderful time on the river. My kids, 9 and 12, loved spending time on the water. We went in August when the temperature was in the 90’s and 100’s so cooling off in the river was a must. The river float and rapids were the perfect level for our first time rafting as a family. Tiara was our guide and she did an awesome job of taking us through the different rapids and telling us when we could swim and when to raft. The scenery along the river was well worth the trip alone, but we are water people so enjoyed swimming along the way. Highly recommend this trip for families with younger kids and anyone who is hesitant to take on the bigger rafting rapids. Our family enjoyed our day on the water.

Paddle Moab made our full day river raft adventure fun and memorable. Santo was our guide and he was excellent! He was very skilled on the river and had great stories to tell
The scenery is second to none, very spiritual at times. Jumping off the raft and floating with current can’t be beat!

We had a great time on the river. The rapids were thrilling but not too much for the kids. Water was cold which was perfect for a hot summer day. During the calm stretches our guide told us about the local history including movie sets, gunfights, geology, dangers of the various water hazards, etc

Our guide was amazing! He knew so many things about the history of the area, as well as the plant and animal life. There was a perfect blend of exciting rapids, calm drifting, "buffet" lunch, isolation from civilization, and information about the sites around the river (I had no idea how many movies we had seen that were filmed nearby). The size of our group was perfect, as it felt like we were the only people on the river that day. It is rare to have the entire family agree on something, but they all agreed that this was a highlight of our trip.

The rapids, wish the water was a bit higher and faster, not your fault. You should have someone at one of the cat 3 rapids to take pictures when you go over them and sell them at the end of the ride back to the people on the raft. They would like seeing themselves go over the rapids and can't take pictures while they are rafting. Loved the guide and the ride.

Awesome!! Everyone was so helpful from checking in, during the ride and after. A fantastic group of people. Our river guide Cole was very very good, he kept us safe, explained what was going on, shared Knowles of the river, canyons, wildlife and so on. Definitely recommend!!!

We really enjoyed our rafting trip with Paddle Moab. Our hosts were Jesyah and Cole. We rafted down with a family of 4, a young couple and then my daughter (13) and I, plus, two paddle boarders.
The guys were fun and told us lots of stories about the surroundings. I enjoyed their dumb pun/jokes but wish I could have heard them better in the van on the way up.
Lunch was great too!
I wish we would have had more photo ops between boats so we could get a pic of our whole raft of people but other than that, we were very happy and would return.

Our guide, Sierra was knowledgeable and made the rafting trip super fun for our 10 and 15 year old daughters ( for us too:)) sharing interesting facts about the area and making sure we all had a good time and returned safely to our destination!

Great guide who kept our raft of 6 away from/ahead of the massive tour groups! Always felt safe, our guide was laid-back and entertaining, and we stopped at an amazing spot on the bank for lunch (and there was shade!) Highly recommend this small company.
