Best experience in Wilmington!

Our sunset cruise upon the Freyja was fantastic! Oliver, our skipper, was incredibly personable and welcomed us warmly. His skill and easy control of his vessel afforded us the luxury of a relaxed evening, full of laughter and shared stories. One member of our party was visibly nervous at the onset and Captain Oliver responded masterfully. He instructed her on how to maneuver the vessel and eased her anxiety with empowerment. Our time with the Captain aboard Freyja was easily the most enjoyable experience we shared while visiting Wilmington. We will be sure to book a cruise with Raven's Nest Sailing the next time we visit the Wilmington area!

Super cute boat cruise around Harbor Island of Wrightsville Beach!

Super cute boat cruise around Harbor Island of Wrightsville Beach! Captain Cory was super kind, polite, and told amazing local stories! We got all sorts of info about the area, history, who's who, and local restaurant recommendations. Would definitely recommend a ball cap and sunglasses as the sun goes down. For the colder months a wind breaker is also a must. Would recommend!

Great scenic tour!

Captain Andy did a great job explaining the surroundings of Cape fear River. Lots of interesting facts and the boat ride was smooth and well-maintained. My mom was in a wheelchair and he made sure she got down the ramp safely and onto the boat as well as escorting her off the boat back up to the sidewalk area. The crew was friendly, and the margarita was surprisingly good! They must see tour!

What a great way to spend some time in the beautiful city of Wilmington. Amanda gave us an outstanding narration of the history of the city through the architecture of its homes and the lives of the people who lived in them. It is a fairly easy walk. Starts with a story of the Thalian Theater… ghost story number one. Then you walk down toward the river walk to get some ghost stories about the USS North Carolina, and Meg the bordello owner. Nice easy paced. Hit several other houses to get the history of the families and the ghosts that dwell inside. Finished at a cemetery for the last ghost story. Phil was our guide. Great TOUR! Don’t believe his story about the back to the future clock… inside joke!
