What are people saying about San Antonio

Great mix of history and food!
Scott was a fantastic guide for a great mix of walking, learning about area history and tasting a variety of different foods. It was a great opportunity to try different restaurants, and it was so nice to have the opportunity to have a reserved table ready — even when it was busy. You won’t leave hungry!

Appropriate and fun for all members of a group
This was a thoughtfully planned and organized immersive experience that appealed to all members of our group for different reasons. Fun. Hands on - to whatever level is comfortable for each participant, and fascinating. Everyone was welcoming and entertaining.

Wonderful stories that aren’t movie fiction!
Tom was a fantastic story teller & great fun to be with. We were very happy to see that San Antonio is finally making the Alamo plaza a truly memorable, historic site & museum, and Tom’s detailed narrative really brought the history to life. We also toured the Cathedral and two more missions that, along with the Alamo, form a UNESCO World Heritage Site. My only disappointment is that we didn’t get to San Juan Capistrano or to Mission Espeda & the Espeda Aqueduct, which are both listed in the detailed itinerary. Looking again, I see that the tour is titled “Missions Only or City and Missions,” but when one clicks for itinerary details, only the 5 missions are described. I didn’t find any option to select which version to book, but maybe that was my mistake. Regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed Tom and would highly recommend requesting him when you book.

Great tour of the city
Our tour guide was Jerry. He was well acquainted with San Antonio and uses humor to give a fun tour. The bus takes you all over the city. I highly recommend this tour to get familiar with the city and hear the history. Please don’t be cheap and tip your tour guide. I was shocked at how many people leave no tip which is outrageous. : (

The unique flavors of one of Texas’ more exciting hubs come alive on a San Antonio tour. This city—known for its iconic River Walk, the Alamo, and other outlying Missions—entices visitors with a delightful mix of Texas charm and international flair, which you can experience with an expert guide. Tour options range private boat cruises along the River Walk and haunted pub crawls, to authentic rodeo shows and day trips to Texas Hill Country, known for its wineries and German culture.
