The dive was incredible....

The dive was incredible. The views were amazing, the water was crystal clear, and the guide was amazing. Belu was our guide and I recommend everybody dive with her!!!! She was extremely friendly and took amazing pictures of us. Her knowledge of silfra was exceptional. Everybody in our party had a blast swimming around, seeing the sights, learning about all of the different types of algae and the rock formations.

Great for kids and adults

We did this our first day in Reykjavik after a long night of travel. It was the perfect stop for our family. We could just chill out and take it in as our host walked us through some of the geological history of Iceland and showed us the amazing properties of lava as it cools. Highly recommend!

The Sky Lagoon is closer...

The Sky Lagoon is closer to Reykjavik than Blue Lagoon. We took a cab to the bus station for our ride to the spa. We were then directed to the changing rooms which were private and plentiful. No shoes are allowed. It is then a short walk to the lagoon which is very comfortable at about 100 degrees. The lagoon is man made but looks very much like natural lava rocks. The floor is smooth and solid. There are rock “islands “ and some have benches to sit and relax upon. The lagoon has multiple coves, a waterfall and a bar area for drinks. Included is a 7 step sauna area which has a dry sauna; a steam room; an area where you rub a salt/oil mix all over followed by another dry sauna, a cold shower area followed by by a warm freshwater shower. After about 2-21/2 hours we dried off, changed and got on the waiting bus which is there about every hour. It seems like it is less crowded than the Blue Lagoon. Both experiences are quite nice but if we came back we would choose the Sky Lagoon.

Fabulous Trip

This was a great tour, our guide Guna was fantastic and explained everything very well along with keeping us informed as to what we need to do and what happens next. Guna was also a very good driver which made it comfortable. If I had to say something a little negative it would be that it was a little cramped, but we were in the very back ( 4 people across). We really enjoyed the trip and that was thanks to Guna being so informative. P.S. loved the Islandic favourite, 3- thank you for sharing Guna.

The timings at each stop were perfect, the scenery and the stops absolutely stunning and our guide, Magnus Dan was excellent. He immediately made us feel relaxed and as well as the information you would expect we could ask Magnus any questions, most he could answer immediately and if he couldn't he'd look it up at the next stop. We would highly recommend this tour

If you only take one tour...

If you only take one tour while you’re in Iceland, make it this one! Our guide, Walter, made it an unforgettable experience. I highly suggest you see if he can be your guide. The pick-up was super easy. We saw and learned so much more than we anticipated. Between the accommodations, guide, sights, and ease of it all, you can’t afford not to book this!

Even though they gave a...

Even though they gave us seasick pills when we boarded the ship I was terribly ill through most of the tour. I spent most of the time being sick in the restroom but the staff was extremely helpful, friendly, concerned and caring and if it wasn't for them I would have never made it to the end. I didn't get to see all the whales that appeared but my husband did and he had a wonderful time. He saw lots of whales and the captain was very accommodating moving towards the whales. So overall my advice would be have nothing to eat or drink before going on a trip like this to limit the time you may be sick.

Delightful experience. Easy to access facility near the City of Reykjavick. Good value for the quality of offer and the time set aside for the session. We felt the time aportioned was perfect However as mentioned by other reviewers it is worth noting how much time you want to allocate within the 7 step ritual sauna portion. There did not appear to be any clocks in that part of the facilty. We underestimated the time we ciuld have spent.

Out of the world experience!

We snorkeled with Isabella, and she was the best guide we could have asked for! I had some trouble with my mask while snorkeling, and she was incredibly patient, reassuring, and helpful the entire time. Her kindness, professionalism, and positive attitude truly stood out, and we’re so grateful to have had her as our guide!
