Awesome

Absolutely amazing!!! While it was a process to get on the dry suit and it was cold out it was all worth it. Once in the suit was not cold and believe it or not once in the water was not cold. My wife was nervous and a little anxious with all the gear in but once she got in the water that all went away and she loved it! The view and experience was out of this world. Our guide Kaya was awesome patient and attentive to our safety. Would do this again in a heart beat.

Frreezingly amazing

It was an amazing experience. Our guide Kaja was great and the snorkeling in the pristine clean and icy cold waters of Silfra was unforgettable. It was not just the snorkelling itself it was the whole experience of being able to whitstand the elements. We were really lucky to pick a very nice December day that was not too cold and had no wind either. Having the experience with ice cold water swimming before I knew the feeling of extreme happiness aferwards. It just makes you laugh.

Incredible experience snorkeling in the Silfra fissure. Our Dive Master Anil was very knowledgeable and very helpful in getting our dry suit and gear on. I was really nervous of the cold, but like everyone else has written, after a few seconds in the water you can't feel it. I wore two merino wool base layers, and 2 pairs of socks. I was very comfortable. If you like to snorkel or dive, or simply like adrenaline-filled adventures, do it! I highly recommend it!

Beautiful Experience in No Mans Land

What a beautiful - and cold! - experience! Was a truly unique adventure to snorkel in crystal clear, filtered, glacial waters between tectonic plates. Dory was an excellent guide, ensuring that everyone was well suited up, safe, and as comfortable as can be. She also took some excellent pictures. The Adventure Vikings team took great care of us from start to finish. Next time, more pairs of socks!!!!

Snorkelling for the first time in a dry suit was quite an experience.

First time in a dry suit. What an experience. The tea were so professional and ensured our suits did not leak, very important when the water was only 2c. They took every precaution to ensure our safety and we all enjoyed the experience. at some parts we had 100m visibility underwater and it was really different snorkelling in a suit is very cold freshwater. We were also in the Silfra fissure between 2 continental plates. Thouroughly recommended as a must do activity.

Really good experience. Our guide was really competent and helpful. I was slightly nervous beforehand about how cold it would be, but our guide put my mind at ease and helped us every step of the way, including making sure everything was done up properly. The snorkling itself was really enjoyable, and visibility was great. The hot chocolate was delicious!
