Cool to see with good history
Annsophie presented our show and she did a wonderful job of showing us not just the lava, but the history of the area and even the science concerning lava. It was really interesting and it's done in a small group, so everyone can see. While we had seen lava in some cracks at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, we had never seen a larger quantity like this with it flowing. This is the closest most of us are ever to going to get to lava and it's pretty cool, so you should do it.

Puffins and Puffins and more Puffins!
By far the best part of the tour was the stop at the puffin colony. Our guide, V, knew this was a priority for most of us so maximized the time we could spend there. Awesome experience to see the puffins up close.
The rest of the tour was great as well. We enjoyed the stops at the volcano and tales of how the town dealt with the lava flow. We also enjoyed the brief stop at the original settlement near the golf course. We saw a lot of the island.
Definitely recommend this tour and V was a great guide full of personality!

Best tour we have been on while in Iceland
Our guide, Daniel Soares, was amazing. He led us on quite the adventure- explained much of the history of the glacier and led us to some amazing sights for photos. We had a great time and have so far found it the most amazing part of an absolutely fantastic family vacation. Truly one of a kind experience. While this was something we have never done before, we felt safe the entire time with Daniel's excellent leadership and calm demeanor. I knew we were all well taken care of and I was able to just enjoy the time with my kids knowing we were in good hands.

There’s no problems, only solutions -Beda
We booked this experience last minute and are so glad that we did! The photos don’t do it justice. The ice mixed with the volcanic ash is so stunning to see in person. There was a short/manageable hike up to the cave. The cave itself is magnificent.
Beda was an incredible tour guide. He had us laughing the whole time. Not to mention he takes great photos! If you’re in the Vik area, I would highly recommend this over the lava show. Bring gloves and a smile. There’s no problems, only solutions ❤️

Beautiful views, friendly horses!
We had the best time on this tour! The staff was very knowledgeable, experienced, and made it easy to feel comfortable. We all had basic riding experience (some more than others) and never felt uncomfortable. The horses are so sweet! Beautiful views along the black sand beach, wish we could have "tolted" a little more. Overall, great experience and would go again!

Great overall experience and very funny guide!
Excellent way to experience more than just the ice caves! Not only did we get to go into a beautiful, man made, ice cave, we made several stops along the way. We stopped to take some pics near small mountains, some plains, and finished up with a ride on the beach! Kate was a a very good guide and had some of the most amazing dry humor you could ever love. Five stars and one of those can't miss when in the area. Thank you!

Great adventure overall....
Great adventure overall. The glacier is a 40min drive via Super Jeep and then the ice cave is another 15min walk up the glacier. The actual ice cave size and location will vary on the specific day of course. Our guide, Helke, was really fun and gave us a lot of information about the glacier. Be prepared for tough conditions though. Definitely wear waterproof pants, jacket, boots and gloves and carry extra clothes for when you return!

Great ATV tour!
This was a really fun experience! From the black sand beach, to the crashed plane, to the many streams you get to cross, it lets you see parts of the island you might not have otherwise. All with the beautiful backdrop of the mountains and glaciers. I would definitely recommend wearing their boots if you want to avoid wet feet. We wore our tall waterproof hiking boots which should have been fine, but got water in them anyway. If you wear your own boots, make sure to lift your feet up as high as you can while going through the streams, it will save soaking your socks! I would recommend bringing extra socks and an extra pair of pants since it seemed some of the coveralls were a little leaky and some people's pants got wet. Our guide Hinrik was great - very knowledgeable and entertaining. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Our Secret Lagoon
Checked in at appointment time. Watched a short video before removing footage. Then went to changing rooms with lockers to shower before putting on swim suits. Glad we brought our own towels. Two lifeguards were on duty. It was a peaceful and relaxing experience. Not as commercial as other lagoons.

Surreal amazing experience
Not sure what I expected, but this surpassed everything. From the superjeep ride across the surreal lava field, walking up and across the glacier, and of course walking in through and around some ice caves. The views.are spectacular. The experience is from another world. Highly recommend, despite the steep price.

Snowmobile a Glacier
The best part of this experience was feeling like you were on another planet. It really felt like you were immersed in Iceland and fully taking it in. The snowmobile was a little tricky to steer but the guides were great and quick to handle any situations. We are glad that we did this excursion!

The most magical day!
This tour far exceeded our expectations! We visited 5 beautiful locations and each one was better than the last. We absolutely loved getting to see places we wouldn’t have been able to experience without a super jeep and a guide! Thorsmork is beyond beautiful. The guide Simeon was wonderful - kind, knowledgeable and took great care of us. Lunch boxes (ordered separately from Midgard) were delicious and we highly recommend. We also had a great dinner at the base camp after the tour!
