Fun tolt super horses great staff

This is such a beautiful thing to do. The horses are so honest and know their job well. Because we are experienced riders, we were taken off from the main group for a tolt....that was so fun and so special for us. The staff were all incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Once in A Lifetime Excursion

This excursion was absolutely worth it. After waking up to snow on the ground and 30 mile per hour winds, I was nervous I made a mistake planning to plunge into ice cold water that day, but I’m so glad I did. The equipment made the temperature completely manageable and our guide, Martin, was informative and attentive. He took care of the full group and captured photos that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend booking with this group.

Trail ride delight!

We got super lucky and had a sunny but snowy day to enjoy a trail ride on Icelandic horses! Our family of 4 has various levels of riding experience and they accommodate people of different levels within the group. Three of us got to try a faster pace of riding called tölting. They have layers you can wear for added warmth such as overalls as well as rain gear available. The guides were very friendly and helpful. Excellent experience for horse lovers and newbies alike! This was a quick drive from central Rekjavik.

So fun!

Be prepared for all weather, you could experience all forms of precipitation while you ride. A warm jumpsuit was provided along with gloves and a riding helmet, but bringing a face cover would be a good idea. It was a great ride and the horses are very kind and gentle. It was a nice ride along the base of the mountains next to a stream. I would definitely recommend.

Great ride

We had so much fun on this ride! The horses were very well-behaved, but still a little spunky. Our guides were so friendly and good at teaching us all how to ride, and we even got to experience the fifth gait, the tort. The weather was quite dreary but it was still great to get out there on the horses.

Best horse experience yet!

I'm pretty hard to please because I grew up riding horses. This private excision was perfect! They were good at seeing our skill level and making the experience ours. There was chatting, learning about Icelandic horses and Iceland in general on the journey. Pickup and drop off were seamless and very accommodating. Provided equipment and weather gear we did not already have. They took pictures and videos and shared as well. Wow!!
