A wonderful tour, so much was experienced, Thingvallir, geyser, Gullfoss…a gorgeous crater lake. Our guide Kristian managed to pack in so much more with his personal touches, giving us a mini tour of Grindavik, (Lava Town) that was evacuated in a 2023 eruption. This truly gave us insight into the real lives of Icelanders and the grit it takes to live in such a beautiful, spontaneous place. Highly recommend, look for Kristian!

Perfect pre travel spa experience

We loved Sky Lagoon!! It was a perfect pre-travel experience. The infinity pool lagoon perched over the ocean was gorgeous and we spent a lot of time in the warm water. The seven step ritual was lovely, especially the sauna with ocean view, salt scrub, steam room and yummy elixir. I also enjoyed the waterfall and cold plunge.

Guide, food and tour were fantastic!

We had a great time during the Walking Food Tour. Our guide, Minty, shared his love of food and drink with us and gave us some great recommendations to try later, too. His knowledge and love of the city of Reykjavik and food came through in his engaging style and storytelling, too. Highly recommend doing this for on your first day to get the lay of the land, and being an appetite... then go back to your hotel and sleep. (Our plane arrived at 8:10 am to Keflavik and we arrived at our hotel to drop our luggage, and arrived at the Harpa meeting place with enough time to explore a little and meet the group for our 12pm tour.) Everyone in the group mentioned the quality and quantity of food received in the tour, so bring your appetite and plan on skipping dinner (or just have a light meal after). Each of the food choices was fantastic!!!

This tour was worth every cent! A lot of ground is covered, but I never felt rushed and was able to really appreciate each site on the route. The sites are breathtaking, the bus is clean and higher end, and our guide (Greta) was the absolute cherry on top. She was so warm and informative and fun; she really elevated the experience to the next level! Will definitely be using Arctic Adventure in my next trip to Iceland

We had a great experience on this tour. The bus was comfortable and our navigator, Thora(sp), was awesome! She was very funny and knowledgeable. Our bonus stop to feed some Icelandic horses was so great! Finishing the day at the Blue Lagoon was the best final touch.

Lights that changes lives

Our tour guide Christian exhibited an immense amount of knowledge regarding The Northern Lights. The information was not only educational but also was critical in directing how and where we should go in order to get the best chance of seeing this phenomenon. And sure enough, he delivered as we were able to see a spectacular show of dancing neon lights. Admittedly the tour demands patience as the auroras can be faint and not visible to the naked eye, but Christian’s astute readings of certain atmospheric metrics made him confident that we could see something if we went to a certain area. I am so glad we trusted him because seeing the auroras was one of my favorite parts of our Iceland trip. I should note Christian was also humorous and pleasant, which made the waiting game feel less like a chore and instead like an amusing bonding moment. We didn’t get back to our hotel until 2am, but the experience was worth staying so late. I recommend that anyone who is in Iceland during auroras season do this life-changing tour! -Trevor & Naoki

Simply the best for seeing the Northern Lights

Firstly, seeing the Northern Lights for the very first time, is an experience we will never forget. They were simply amazing. We’re so grateful to Hawk, our driver and guide. What an amenable, friendly guide and highly knowledgeable, on all aspects of the Northern Lights. Hawk was very experienced and took us to a place, where our chances of seeing the Northern Lights, was favourable. And that he did achieve. Hawk took several professional photos of all the group. Can’t wait to see our photos. We were delighted with the very clean toilets, for a bathroom break. To add to our comfort, Hawk gave us a cup of what can only be described, as the best hot chocolate ever. Plus a delicious Icelandic doughnut. Once again, many thanks to Hawk for giving us such wonderful memories, that we will treasure forever. We highly recommend seeing the Northern Lights with EastWest tours and should we ever get an opportunity to return to beautiful Iceland, we will only use this company.

Mikki was such a knowledgeable and accommodating tour guide. He was able to communicate with passengers in multiple different languages but the tour was conducted in English. The sights were incredible even on a rainy day, it truly felt like a once in a lifetime experience.
