Vessel is located in the center of Hudson Yards on Manhattan’s West Side. It’s easy to access from the 34th Street-Hudson Yards subway station and Penn Station. Thanks to its central location, many tours bundle a visit to the Vessel with other local attractions such as the High Line and Little Island.

There are generally no time limits, so you can spend as long as you’d like exploring the Vessel’s honeycomb-like network of interconnected staircases and platforms. However, there may be occasional time restrictions due to excessive crowds. Plan to spend at least 30 minutes climbing through the building and seeing the city from new perspectives.

Yes, Vessel is wheelchair-accessible, but elevator access is limited. Visitors who need to use the elevator should purchase a priority access ticket, which offers service every 15 minutes. Stand-by elevator service is available for those without priority tickets, but be prepared for a long wait. Visitors with mobility needs are encouraged to check for updates before visiting.

Yes, photography is welcomed and encouraged. Vessel offers stunning views of New York City and the Hudson River. It’s also popular to take photos of the building itself, which is covered in reflective cladding that captures different views of the city and lighting throughout the day.
