Top Maui Horseback Riding

This experience was great! Robbie was a very patient and fun guide. Be advised that this excursion launches from the shore, you are not on a boat. So you do have to swim out about a quarter of a mile, then you're swimming for about an hour so, then need to swim back. They offer life jackets and life belts for free, and the electric propellers for a fee. I'm an average swimmer and did not use any life jackets and was completely fine doing this swim. The waters are pretty calm and the fins keep you buoyant. Fins and snorkel gear are provided, and they help you fit everything to your size. We saw lots of turtles and other sea life. Robbie took pictures and videos the whole time and was able to airdrop them to us. He even grabbed some things from the ocean floor and let us hold them and got pictures of us! Made for some great memories! This was a really small private group, which was great compared to some of the boat tours where there's like 20 or 30 people. There was only 6 of us! There was a couple who came with us and I think there might have been a language barrier. We got into the water and turns out neither of them knew how to swim! And they had opted to not use any life vest or life belt. One of them ended up going back to shore, but Robbie made sure the whole group stopped and ensured she got to the shore safely before we moved on. The other girl was able to hold on to Robbie's boogie board the entire time. Despite this being a really frustrating situation, he handled it with grace and was very kind. He made sure it did not detour of the amazing experience for the rest of us. Highly recommend this tour, its worth the cost!

A great experience!!! The staff was super knowledgeable and we even stopped to star gaze on the way up the mountain, which was amazing. Made it right in time for sunrise which was nice because it was cold so we didn’t have to stand around and wait. We were able to leave our stuff in the van as we biked down the mountain, which was nice because we just got to enjoy the ride. Stopped to take pictures and the group had a great time. Highly recommend!

The trip was great, got to see the whales Momma, baby and escort! I came solo, but the crew was very inclusive. Had a great time!!! Thanks so much for the experience and the great snacks! I would certainly recommend to anyone interested in this type of adventure! It was special and definitely worth the value.
