Our program is only two hours on-site to complete the Discover Scuba Diving session which is a prerequisite to participating in the Discover Scuba Diving Reef Excursion. Our dive center is located at the Bayside Inn Key Largo which makes hotel accommodations and diving easy since we're at the same location. We use the pool and beach here to begin your training, then progress to the dive boat for optional open water dives.

Our included certified Divemasters will insure that your dive adventure with us is safe and fun. After a short boat trip to the reef certified scuba divers will have the opportunity to dive at two sites, with a short break between dives to grab some water and a snack, then jump back in for your second dive. Our new Newton Dive Special boat features an extra long ladder which makes getting out of the water easy. It also features an on-board restroom, plus two hot water showers. Photographers will appreciate our large two level camera table and separate rinse bucket for their cameras and lights. We have rental cameras available, and top of the line scuba gear rentals. Our dive boat is located on the ocean side of Key Largo which saves you the long transit through the mangroves to get to the ocean, this maximizes your time on the reef and saves your valuable vacation time for the things you want to do during your visit - dive. Divers must perform to their level of certification.

Family Life Experiences. Took our adult children.

This was a really great experience. We took our adult children and their spouses out for the day. It was cloudy and I was really anxious about what the boat ride would look like. Make sure you check your your wind for the day wind between zero and 10 mph. You should have minimum waves and the boat ride should be pretty smooth. A couple sprinkles doesn’t ruin anything at the reef. We saw plenty of wildlife and everything was really organized Brandon justice and Joe did a great job of explaining the process and navigating us to the reef. Absolutely Recommend

This was a very fun experience. Captain Cait and First Mate Liber were great. They provided very clear, professional instruction, but also made fun connections with participants and created an enjoyable environment. This is a great experience for first-time snorkelers, as you have concise and easily understandable instruction, and the excursion is not crazily physically demanding, yet you still get to see and experience some amazing sights and adventures. The long boat ride is certainly worth the beautiful sights beneath the surface of the water. The staff, the environment, and the excursion were all awesome. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Girls trip 2026.

Mangroves and Manatee kayaking. Wear sun protection and you will have a ball!!! Our guide, Brittany, was fabulous!!! Bring environment friendly mosquito repellent, just in case the mosquitoes are active in the mangroves. Our tour was May 19, 2026, I only saw three mosquitoes. If the wind is blowing, you’ll get a pretty good shoulder workout.. if you need assistance, the guides willingly and able to assist/tow you. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Our guide was calm, very informative, watched out for us, and very concerned for our safety! We felt safe the whole time. I would highly recommend this excursion. We happen to be out on a very high tide and did not see manatees, but it is still well worth your time to go kayak through those mangroves! It was an absolutely amazing experience that we will never forget!!!! Thank you Brittany!!!!!!!

Small Group Florida Keys Eco Tour by Boat

We loved this tour!

We saw a group of manatees, some birds, a turtle, a shark, barracuda, and some dolphins that jumped in the wake of our boat. It was really great! Bobby was our guide and he was really knowledgeable and found all kinds of animals. Then we ended the tour with some dolphins jumping behind the boat in our wake. We had a great time and I would recommend Bobby as a guide to anyone.

A must do!!!

It's a fantastic crew, good music and the snacks afterwards has been so much appreciated! The locations had been amazing. We have soon a nurse shark and a group of spotted eagle rays! I will be definitely back next time when we are here! Also bring your kids. My 11 year old daughter loved it!

This boat ride itself was a fun experience. We were fortunate to see a sunset and some dolphins. The boat operator was pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. The only downside was that the property that the boat operates out of is an extremely busy venue. We had to park quite a distance from the property.

New Years sunset cruise in Key Largo

We were just two couples and our captain on this cruise, which was an unexpected bonus. He was very knowledgeable about key largo, and about the mangroves.It was extra good for us since we had gone on a self guided tour of the mangroves in our kayaks earlier.But with no guide to give us information about the mangroves. With thoroughly recommend this trip.

Snorkeling adventure

The day started out on the chilly side but the staff and crew reassured us the water temp was perfect. We added on wet suits just for added warmth just in case. Justice, Liber, and the captain of our tour did an amazing job at making sure we were all safe, smiling, laughing and having an all around good time. We didn’t have to swim far from the boat at all to see the reef. Would highly recommend this tour and crew to all that are new to snorkeling! Happy holidays!!

Great tour!

This tour was exceptionally well-organized, with plenty of time dedicated to both snorkeling or diving. Each stop featured unique underwater scenery and an variety of marine life. The boat was spacious and not overcrowded, with ample shaded seating available for those needing a break from the sun. Snacks and water (as well as reef safe sunscreen, shampoo, and conditioner) were provided, which was a nice touch. The staff truly stood out—they were professional, attentive, and incredibly helpful with gear and getting in and out of the water. You can tell they really know what they’re doing. Highly recommend!
