What are people saying about Italy

Fun and Delicious. Watch the booking locations, the ticket may not match the what you booked, but the reality does.
Very fun cooking class. Two of the restaurant locations are near the bridge called the Ponte Vecchio, which is famous enough you'll recognize a picture of it. It's covered with expensive shops except the center where there's photo-op space. The class has each person whipping up a batch of dough which used used to make spinach/ricotta ravioli and linguini, which they cook for you and serve to you. Also the group all participates in making a batch of Tiramisù for dessert. The wine is always available but not liberally available. Viator has a quirk that says which restaurants are for which times, but the ticket for 7pm points to the wrong restaurant. Thank goodness the right restaurant called us and we were able to get to it...It was only about 150' down from the other restaurant which the the Viator Ticket said it was at. I had booked the correct restaurant closest to the Vecchio bridge.

Fun Activity, Nice way to meet people
Such a fun and memorable experience! Our instructor, Lulu, was fantastic and kept the class entertaining and engaging from start to finish. The small class size made it feel personal, and we had such a fun group! One of the highlights was sitting down afterward to enjoy the delicious meal we’d prepared together, sharing food, laughter and conversation with strangers who quickly felt like friends. A wonderful way to spend an evening in Rome. I’d absolutely recommend this experience!

Don’t eat before this class!
This was not one of those “classes” where everything is done for you. Chef Dave from Da Bardi taught us to make 3 different pastas - ravioli, tortellini and beautiful pappardelle. Along with learning about 3 sauces, he had all kinds of tips throughout. We highly recommend this class for being fun and we learned a lot!

Pasta & Gelato Making class with a view
The Gelato and Pasta making class and a countryside view was a wonderful experience while visiting Florence! The description of the activity is exactly what you get to experience. The pasta and gelato class with a view, the length of the class, the description of what you will cook. The detail on how to meet the class is also so helpful and there was no issues or questions I had. Everything was seamless and wonderful experience I’d recommend to anyone! Luca, Francesco, and Camilla were wonderful teachers. Luca was a great host! They were all friendly, helpful, great personality and explained things very well. You meet the host at the train station, walk to the bus, ride to the beautiful countryside, you are greeted with Prosecco and bread. What I loved about the cooking class was you get to make your own pasta on your own, you have your own individual station. Even if you’re a couple you can both work next to each other but individually make pasta. You get to be a pasta maker and enjoy the company of your loved ones. For the sauces, the Tortellini is vegetarian. The Pappardelle pasta is a ragù and this does have meat but they offer vegetarian option as well. For the gelato you work in pairs so together you make one flavor of gelato. Every pair gets to choose a flavor. There are several gelato flavor options to choose from. I did the 2-6pm class and this was a lovely sunset dinner. You get to enjoy your meal with strangers and sip on wine. It is an incredible experience with a beautiful view. I recommend this to anyone and everyone going to Italy!!!! Completely worth it & makes for a fun day in Florence with great flavorful food and good company!

Italian food is arguably one of the most beloved cuisines in the world, so Italy is proud (and protective) of its culinary culture. Italy cooking classes let you connect with diverse regional cuisines that range from the Alpine specialties of the north to Mediterranean crowd-pleasers in the south. Tie on an apron, roll up your sleeves, and go hands-on to learn how to prepare authentic risotto in Milan, pici pasta in Tuscany, pizza in Naples, couscous in Sicily, and much more—washing down each triumph in the kitchen with perfectly paired local wine.
