What To Expect
Your tour begins in central Florence, where you join up with your guide. Walk to a Florentine food market and peruse the stalls, each teeming with the region’s freshest ingredients, including cured meats, olives, cheeses, balsamic vinegar, sun-dried tomatoes, and other Tuscan delicacies. Select some of these high-quality ingredients for your cooking class later in the afternoon and enjoy tastings of the food and wine.
Climb aboard a minibus and journey into the Tuscan hills and drive to a rustic farmhouse. Under the guidance of an expert chef, prepare a full Tuscan meal. Discover the culinary secrets behind Tuscan cuisine, from slow-cooked meat sauces to whipping up Italian pasta from scratch. This was a lot of fun. The location is lovely and peaceful. The lunch was delicious. Our guide Luca was very knowledgeable and made everyone feel included. His humor was a highlight for me. Lucia our cook was absolutely charming. I learnt a lot from both of them on the course and have confidence to go home and cook these dishes myself. I had been looking forward to this for some time and was not disappointed.

Such a fun day with truly amazing people! Our guides were so kind, informative, and helpful! Everything was so easy and the timing of everything was thought out so well. Shopping at the market was a really cool and interesting experience that you rarely get with cooking classes, and the views were amazing! Looks just like the pictures! Our group was so fun and so kind, and I’m so glad we did this!

My family of four attended this cooking class and by far, it’s been the best tour yet. We enjoyed walking through the market and listening to Stefania explain the history surrounding us. We then walked through the town to meet our bus which was clean and had great AC! The ride was amazing, it had beautiful views of the town and Fort Belvedere.
Upon our arrival we were greeted by the beauty of the property. A garden below and more breathtaking views. We loved everything about the class from the warm greeting, the well organized staff, to Erika’s passion and enthusiasm for teaching us the courses we made. We felt like we were family and didn’t want to leave.
If you are considering this tour, just book it, I promise, you won’t be disappointed!

This was the absolute highlight of our trip! Chris and Erica were wonderful hosts — warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made seven hours feel like no time at all. Erica, in particular, kept us laughing the entire time — her sense of humor made the experience even more memorable.
We started at the central market, where we learned all about the fresh ingredients we'd soon be cooking with and eating from Chris. Then it was off to a beautiful Tuscan farmhouse, where we made fresh pasta and Bolognese sauce from scratch before sitting down to enjoy everything we'd created together — paired with great wine, of course.
If you're visiting Tuscany, don't think twice. Book it.

The full day cooking experience was honestly the top highlight of our entire family! From the local market tour and throughout the entire day of learning how you make bruschetta, seasoned pork, homemade sauce for pasta, the process of making pasta, and tiramisu was unforgettable! We booked a cooking class at a Tuscany Farmhouse and had the most wonderful time. Our tour guide Lavi was amazing. She was engaging and delightful and full of information about the region and cooking. The chef, Erika, was the best! She was not only a fabulous cook but she was hilarious and so engaging. This was hands down one of our favorite experiences of the full two week vacation.

We decided early on that whenever we would travel to a new city we would take a cooking class. We’ve taken multiple cooking classes in multiple cities and multiple countries. This particular class was one of the best ones we’ve ever taken for multiple reasons. First, we had a great group - friendly, interactive, fun, and actively participated. Second, the Tuscan food is ah-MAZE-ing, delicious, and plentiful. And lastly, our host Luca was one of a kind. He was fun, funny, interactive, knowledgeable, and engaging! He treated the class like his own reality tv cooking show and let me tell you - I would watch the show every day! This was one of my favorite classes/experiences I’ve done and would book again on my next trip.

This was, without question, the highlight of our time in Florence and the one experience I would recommend to every visitor, kid friendly as well!
From the moment we met Cris and Erika, we knew we were in for something special. They are genuinely some of the warmest, kindest, and most welcoming hosts we've ever encountered. Their passion for Tuscan food, Florence, and creating memorable experiences shines through in everything they do. They made every guest feel like family and were incredibly patient, encouraging, and fun throughout the entire day.
The experience started with a guided tour of the local market, which was fantastic. Cris and walked us through the stalls, explaining where the fresh ingredients came from and how they are used in traditional Tuscan cooking. We loved all the samples provided by the vendors and appreciated the insider tips on what to buy and bring home. It added so much context to the cooking experience and gave us a deeper appreciation for the ingredients we would later use.
Transportation was seamless and comfortable. Getting to and from the farmhouse was effortless, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy the day.
The farmhouse itself was breathtaking. The outdoor cooking space felt like a luxury Tuscan kitchen straight out of a magazine, surrounded by postcard-worthy views overlooking Florence and the countryside. We found ourselves stopping constantly to admire the scenery.
The cooking class was both fun and approachable, even for beginners. Cris and Erika guided us through creating an incredible four-course meal, teaching us how to make fresh pasta and tiramisu completely from scratch. Their instructions were easy to follow, and they struck the perfect balance between teaching and letting everyone get hands-on experience.
By the end of the day, we not only enjoyed one of the best meals of our trip, but we also left with skills and recipes we can't wait to recreate at home. More importantly, we left with wonderful memories thanks to Cris and Erika, whose hospitality truly made this experience unforgettable.
If you're visiting Florence and can only choose one excursion, make it this one. Hands down, it was the best thing we did in Tuscany.

What a fun, delicious, entertaining and all around fabulous time we had cooking with Luca & Erica!!!! From the moment the "tour" began, we knew it was going to be a blast!!! Everything was so organized and well planned! The "cooking team" made sure it all ran smoothly, from the first slice of bread, chopping the tomatoes, cooking the sauce, preparing the meat, making homemade pasta, and finally a fabulous tiramisu.... what a day!!!
DELICIOUS! And to top it off, the setting was gorgeous!!! A great cherished memory!

Wow! What an amazing day with Luca! This tour was worth every penny and then some. Luca was an absolute fantastic host and tour guide. From beginning to end everything was exceptional. Luca was extremely entertaining and knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Tuscan/Italian cooking. Our family had a wonderful day shopping at a local market and then traveling to a beautiful Tuscan farmhouse to prepare a delicious lunch with an awesome group of people! Erica was amazing as well.
