Dionisis was an exceptional guide! His timing was perfect, he was always prompt, and his passion for Greek history was contagious. With skip-the-line tickets arranged, everything flowed seamlessly. Before visiting each site, including the Acropolis, Parthenon, Theater of Dionysus, and Ancient Agora, he provided fascinating historical context that brought these remarkable places to life. He then left us at an excellent restaurant with time to explore the charming Plaka neighborhood. But the highlight was his final surprise—watching the Evzones, Changing of the Guard at the Presidential Palace! What made it even more extraordinary was discovering that Dionisis himself had once served in this prestigious position. What a special and personal connection to Greek history! His knowledge, enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine love for his country's history made this an unforgettable experience. Beyond phenomenal! We couldn't recommend Dionisis more highly!

Amazing Experience

Amazing Experience and worth the climb. The 1st monastery, St Nikolaos, was the hardest climb. The 2nd, Varlaam Monastery was easier, larger and more beautiful than the 1st. Holy Trinity was the last and smallest. The photo stops were well planned and breathtaking, with locations used in Game of Thrones and 007 For Your Eyes Only. Don’t be last in line for lunch. The guide was locally raised and well educated in the local history. A tour not to be missed.

This is a "can't miss" experience on any trip to Athens if you haven't done it before. The museum is fabulous. The tour of the Acropolis is almost surreal. Our tour guide, Dr. Michael G. was absolutely fantastic. Not only did he have an incredible command of the information and history, he was a very personable guy and provided us with a lot of enjoyable moments.

Gorgeous experience and great crew. Everyone was so friendly, relaxed, and on top of every task to ensure everyone had a great time. Food was extraordinary and with lots of gluten free & dairy free options. Make sure to tell the crew about your allergies, they made special sandwiches for us as part of the morning snack. They also had fantastic tracks on the boat, but with quieter spaces to suit every traveler. Highly recommend the experience, it was the highlight of our trip 🫶🏼
