Great experience.
The experience was great! The captain Kostas and his f. mate Charis were very professional and super nice. The catamaran was very clean. The food was delicious, better than in any restaurant. The driver Myronos was on time, and was very professikonal as well.

“A Private Tour That Completely Changed How We Saw Athens
We had an absolutely phenomenal experience with our Athens tour guide, Dionisis. I’ll be honest — I’m usually not a “guided tour” person because they can sometimes feel rushed, generic, or overly scripted. This was the complete opposite. What made this experience exceptional was how personalized and private it felt. We were able to move at our own pace, ask questions freely, and really enjoy the day without feeling herded around in a large group. One thing I especially appreciated was that he explained the history and significance of the Acropolis before we entered. That preparation completely changed the experience for us because we actually understood what we were looking at while walking through it. Instead of just seeing ruins, we understood the stories, historical importance, and cultural meaning behind everything. His background and degrees in History and Archaeology truly elevated the entire experience. Every explanation was detailed, engaging, and thoughtful without ever feeling overwhelming. He took us to the highest peak in Athens where we had breathtaking panoramic views of the city, and he also brought us to the Presidential Palace where he thoroughly explained the traditions, symbolism, and history behind the Greek guards — including why they wear the uniforms they do and the meaning behind every ceremonial movement. Beyond the history itself, he recommended a fantastic local restaurant that ended up being one of the best meals of our trip. Most importantly, he was incredibly generous with his time, warm, thoughtful, and genuinely passionate about sharing Greece with us. A true wealth of knowledge and an outstanding human being. If you want an authentic, educational, and deeply memorable experience in Athens, this is the guide you want. Thank you Dionisis!

Our walk with Paul and Aries
Our party enjoyed visiting the various historical spots and learning more about the history of the area as well as how Paul made his impact on Christianity here. It is hard to put into words how seeing the Corinthian church started by Paul, the Bema seat where he faced judgement, and Aeropagus Hill impacted us, but what an amazing experience. It is clear that Aries is very knowledgeable and enjoys what he does. Our only wish would have been to have our guide accompany us through the sites and share what all we were seeing. Some stops we did get that and others we did not. Overall, quite pleased with our experience and would recommend this tour and guide to others.

Ermis was incredibly...
Ermis was incredibly knowledgeable and provided a lot of context about the history and mythology of the Acropolis and its artifacts. There is no way we would have understood or appreciated the significance of the sites or the excavated items on our own. Truly recommend!

Athens may be famous for its ancient wonders, but it is also within striking distance of Piraeus, one of Europe’s busiest ports and the jumping-off point for Athens cruises in the Aegean Sea. Skirt the Athens Riviera and the coast of mainland Greece; hop between the islands of Agistri, Poros, and Aegina in the Saronic Gulf; or venture to some of the 3,000-plus Greek islands on a sailing ship or catamaran for a half- or full-day break from the heat and bustle of the capital city.
