- Infants must sit on laps - Strollers are not allowed within Acropolis, you can leave your stroller at the meeting point in our premises at Porinou 5.

- Please make sure this tour includes approximately one mile of walking uphill/downhill on uneven surfaces and 200 steps (both ways).
- Guests are advised to wear flat and comfortable walking shoes. Large backpacks and oversized purses are not permitted inside the site. Long queues and waiting might occur and every effort is made to coordinate the best timings for visits.

If you’re visiting Athens for the first time, this Acropolis, Parthenon, and Acropolis Museum guided tour is an absolute must-do!
Our guide, Michael G., who is in the final stages of completing his PhD in Archaeology, was outstanding. His depth of knowledge was incredible, but what really set him apart was his ability to make the history come alive. He was engaging, entertaining, easy to understand, and always happy to answer questions. Despite the large crowds, he kept our group moving efficiently while ensuring we never felt rushed or missed important details.
The entire experience was exceptionally well organized. The arrival and check-in process was seamless, fast, and efficient, allowing us to focus on enjoying the tour rather than dealing with logistics.
We also highly recommend investing the extra time for the guided Acropolis Museum tour. It added valuable context and insight that greatly enhanced our understanding of everything we saw at the Acropolis and Parthenon.
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece and provided a much deeper appreciation for Athens’ rich history and culture. Highly recommended!

The tour was fabulous from start to finish. Getting the tickets and joining our group of 20 was seamless. We had ear buds to better hear our guide but rarely needed them.
Our tour guide, John the Archaeologist, was absolutely the best guide ever. He is extremely knowledgeable and very witty. We laughed a lot during the tour. He also was remarkably able find shady spots to stop on our way up the hill and speak about the fascinating history of the Acropolis and Greece. I learned so much.
John the Archaeologist was very interactive with our group, asking questions as part of his history lesson, and answering many more. Lastly, I was very touched by the care and compassion John the Archaeologist exhibited towards a gentleman whom he noticed was experiencing some difficulty walking. John took this gentleman under his wing, sometimes giving him a hand, always making sure he was among the group, and finding places for him to sit.

Wear good and comfortable shoes. The audio headset makes it possible to hear the guide throughout the whole experience. Our guide was superb. Very knowledgeable about all you’re going to see. We saw a lot and we learned even more.

This was a very enjoyable and informative walking tour of the Acropolis, including all the major monuments (Theater of Dionysus, Odeon, Parthenon, etc.) . Victor, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and well-spoken. He paced the tour perfectly and knew all the best spots for photos. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Athens!

Its was a phenomenal experience with the tour guide John the archeologist. He was so engaging, fun and informative, really brought the entire Acropolis structure back to life. One of the best tours me and my husband have ever had.

The tour was great, The archeologist guide really knew her stuff and was cleary passionate about it. She also took time to make sure everyone in the group could hear and understand her.
The only complaint I have was in comparison the lack of customer service from the staff at the office. One staff member in particular was rude, abrupt and really inpatient with any questions or misunderstandings, treating the group like children who should qué up, be quiet and listen!!

We were very lucky to book the tour for 8am. Not only did it get hotter but much much busier. You need to wear tennis shoes. Elizabeth was our guide and she was wonderful. So full of information and did a great job informing us and telling us the stories .

The Acropolis is breathtaking and magnificent! Truly an architectural and cultural masterpiece. Our tour guide was very informative and thorough. On a warm day, he did a great job of periodically stopping in the shade to give folks time to rest and cool down. His wealth of knowledge was unbelievable and brought the Acropolis alive. Would absolutely recommend this tour….go as early as possible to avoid the heat and crowds. We went at 8:30AM and it was perfect….upon our exit at 11:30AMit was incredibly crowded with cruise ship passengers. Wear supportive sneakers and bring plenty water. The hike is steep with minimal shade.

His gift was his ability to synthesize his vast wealth of knowledge and convey it to us in a way that was interesting and engaging. Would not accommodate handicap entrance access. Greeter at office was very rude. Guide was impossible to understand - very strong accent. My husband’s transmitter did not work.
