A wonderful experience in Ephesus Turkey

Kai & Sebastian were excellent guide and driver. Pick up was easy even among the chaos of coming off a cruise ship. They knew how to get ahead of the crowds but we never felt rushed. Kai was knowledgeable and informative on all 3 of our stops (we elected not to see the temple of Artemis.). The lunch was great and traditional. Afterwards we toured the carpet factory sponsored by the government. This was also informative and Kai told us we were not obliged to purchase anything. We had an early All Aboard and the men got us back in time for last minute shopping. Overall I highly recommend this tour.

Excellent tour with outstanding guide

We had a small group, which made the experience feel like a private tour. Our guide, Eda, was knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke with passion about Ephesus’ past, present, and future, including the ongoing archaeological excavations. We also stopped at the Golden Fringe shop, where we learned about the fascinating art of handwoven carpet making. A great shore excursion and a memorable experience!

Absolutely wonderful!

Nagi was absolutely incredible! This was my be of the best tours we’ve had. She was knowledgeable and thoughtful and the pacing was perfect! Do not miss Ephesus. The barbecue lunch was wonderful (and I’m a pretty picky eater). I know people have complained about the carpet demonstration, but we really enjoyed it and learned so much. Watching silkworm cocoons turned into thread was a highlight. They showed off their rugs, but we just make it clear that we wouldn’t be buying one today, but that we lived learned about their craft, and there was no pressure. Just great hospitality. You won’t regret taking this tour. And the weather at the end of September was perfection!!!

Our guide, Fatima was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and helped us to not only enjoy the tour, but to open our eyes to the beauty of the local culture. We toured the religious sites and ancient city of Ephasus with a short stop at the temple of Artemis. A quick stop at a leather factory was interesting as well. Lunch was delicious at a local restaurant and everyone was so welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Fatima.

Even though the sky was...

Even though the sky was gray and the rain came down, Ozge created a most memorable day for us. She truly has unlimited knowledge on Ephesus. She brought the entire “city” to life for us by painting a picture of a time thousands of years ago. It was a fascinating tour and the highlight for us was the House of Mary. Would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone wanting a true behind the scenes tour. Private is the way to go to avoid the massive crowds of people.

Great Day Visit to Ephesus

We found our guide easy enough after leaving our cruise ship. We were then taken straight to Ephesus and got through the entry point easily. Our guide Bugra was excellent with his knowledge of this amazing place and answered all our questions. After the tour we were taken to a lovely location for a Turkish lunch which was very nice and got a chance to view some of the locally produced beautiful carpets. We were then dropped back to the port with plenty of time to explore Kusadasi. Our guide Bugra was one of the best guides we’ve ever had and is a very nice and helpful person

Best tour guide EVER!!

Aybike was our guide! She was fantastic!! Very educated and informed about the areas we were visiting. 20 out of 10 recommend her! She enhanced our experience, answered all our questions. This was the start of our vacation and it was fantastic. Could have done without the carpet part, but that food was fabulous and I couldn’t get enough. It was a hot day and was hard to eat but I had seconds and wished I could have taken it home with me!! This IS the tour to take with Aybike if you’re in this area!!

Best Ephesus tour

Great tour of Ephesus, house of Mary, Temple of Artemis and the hand made rug coop. Ozzy met us outside the pier terminal and took us to all the spots. It was so much better to go with a small group than a big excursion with the boat. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Ephesus and answered all our questions. We paid less than the cruise ship tours and saw so much!

Hands down 1st class guide and tour. The Turkish hospitality was incredible. I left my phone at the house of the Virgin Mary and they helped turn a nightmare into a happy ending. Yunis is a fantastic guide and Ephesus is a must see

We are a group of 6 adults who did the Ephesus tour with Yunis. Booking was straightforward. Communication with the tour operator and guide was easy via WhatsApp. We knew what to expect and were kept informed. Pickup was right on time. The van was modern, comfortable and air conditioned. It ended up that we were the only group and Yunis made it feel just like a private tour, customizing the itinerary to match our preferences. Yunis was polished and professional, giving historical and local insights as we walked together through the whole site. We went in at the top gate, down the main street and Yunis pointed out the temples, fountains, houses and taverns. He showed us an active archeological dig, explaining how Ephesus was discovered and how much has been excavated. We saw the Library of Celsus, the amphitheater (that is actually a theatre because it is a semi circle - thanks Yunis!) and the new Ephesus experience museum. What a spectacular and awe inspiring place and what a treat to be guided by such a professional. Amazing!
