Our driver and guide,Elios did a fantastic job. He picked us up right on time and brought us to everything we were planning. He was knowledgeable and answered all our questions easily.
We had such an amazing full day experience with Aristotle yesterday! He arrived early, greeted up warmly and got us started right at the acropolis first thing in the morning! He is so incredibly knowledgeable, and not just book smart or doing research on these things- he LIVES it! Aristotle is a true local gem who knows the ins and outs of this city and its history we could literally ask him anything! I have two teenagers and a 9 year old and they had been raving about him all afternoon. It is not easy to keep teenagers and a 9 year old entertained in history lol but we really learned so much. We could have booked 7 different tours to see everything and still wouldn’t have learned as much without this tour. Worth every penny! Thank you guys for a memorable experience in a magical city!
Our day was perfect. Dem was a wonderful guide, full of interesting information and extremely friendly. This tour exceeded our expectations. Book this trip and you will not be disappointed.
Andreas and Arie were fantastic guides and are highly recommended
We covered a lot of ground and they were very flexible with our specific needs
Wonderful day! Nassos was punctual, his van was immaculately clean and he offered beverages throughout the day. His knowledge of Greek history is second to none. We learned so much!
Aristotle Was our guide, you could not ask for better. He is not only fully trained as a guide and driver but has a history degree.
Who better to spend a day in Athens with? He is passionate, personable and truly cares that you have a great experience.
If you do not have the opportunity to have Aristotle had your guide it is a missed opportunity. My wife and I choose to have private guides on almost every trip. We have no question he rates as one of the very top guides we’ve had and we’ve had many good ones..
Highly recommend and you will never be disappointed guiding is his true calling and I’m glad that we had time to spend with him.
Without questioning, it was an awesome experience and obviously I highly recommend his services. Aristotle, I wish you luck and happiness in your life. You’re in the right space at the right time and I’m glad we were part of it..
Our guide Dionisis was so fun, informed, and smart. What a great day! We saw all the major sights in the best way possible. The monuments were very crowded because it was a "free admission" day, but it also saved us a lot of money as a big group. There were many highlights, but getting an up close and personal view of the presidential palace guard was especially memorable, especially since our guide is a former palace guard. Fantastic memories!
One of the very best guided tours we have ever experienced! Our guide Dionisis was exceptional, his knowledge and personal experiences gave us an additional appreciation for what we were seeing. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wonderful and exceptional tour experience!!

Thank you so much for your amazing review! We are delighted to hear that Dionisis made your tour so special and that his knowledge and personal experiences added something extra to your time in Athens.
We truly appreciate your recommendation and will be very happy to share your kind words with Dionisis. We hope to welcome you back to Greece again for another wonderful experience!
Fantastic tour. We had a fantastic guide in Aristotle. Start as early as possible.. I suggest 7:30 AM. As most sites open at 8 AM . the crowds intensify after 9 AM because of the big groups at the best spots. There’s a big difference between licensed guides and non-licensed guides in the quality of the tours.. there are steps that have to be navigated, but it’s not terrible. Eat at a local Greek lunch somewhere. The extra add-ons for the VIP passes and the personal guide was worth it.. you can get all the big things done in one day in Athens that way you use an extra day to relax. I think the changing of the guard is better at the back gate then the front gate because you’re closer and less crowded.

We greatly appreciate your recommendation and your kind words about the licensed guide experience. We hope to welcome you back to Greece again in the future!
From the moment our tour started, Aristotle was prompt but not pushy, professional but also fun, knowledgeable but not condescending. He is the model of what every tour guide should attempt to emulate. A proud Athenian, through and through, who loves his country, his history, his family, we couldn’t have asked for a better guide to help us navigate our limited time in this beautiful, ancient city. This tour is a must if you wish to see as much of the highlights of Athens, in a short, albeit 8 hours, span of time. If we ever find ourselves in Athens again, we’ll have to reach out to Telis to grab some dinner!

We had an absolutely wonderful private tour of Athens today! We were able to see all of the major sights, and our driver, Dem, made the entire experience exceptional. He arranged our Acropolis tickets in advance, making everything seamless and stress-free.
Dem was extremely knowledgeable about Athens and its incredible history. He shared fascinating information throughout the day and was also friendly, professional, and a pleasure to spend the day with.

We were so lucky to have Nasos as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much about the area. We preferred having a full day private tour than the big bus tour. With the smaller group Nasos was able to get us quickly to each location. When we had questions, he could answer them quickly. His car was clean, he had cold water readily available to us on the hot day. He even gave us tips when we went to different areas.
A bonus was the Changing of the Guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. He took us to perfect spot for pictures, explained part of the ceremony. He also took us to a great restaurant for lunch before we headed back to our ship.
We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone that wants to get away from the large cruise tours.

The most delightful day. Nasos was so knowledgeable about the history of every site we went to. We were trying to get a photo with the guards or see the changing of the guards he went above and beyond we went back three times and finally got the photo, that was amazing. He took us to a great local spot for lunch where the people were over accommodating and the food was delicious.. he was very thorough with his explanation of where to go and what to do also very punctual and he was exactly where he says he was going to be when we were finished walking around. Nasos was very personable and made you feel super comfortable. I definitely recommend if coming to Athens for the first time to experience a private full day tour with Nasos.
