What are people saying about Asheville

Lots of fun!
We missed the waterfall tour because the starting point was in Brevard, NC, and we didn’t allow enough time to get there from Asheville. But the tour company was very accommodating and booked us on a different jeep tour for the next day, and this tour left from Asheville. We saw Looking Glass Falls and some other historic sites left over from the Vanderbilt days. Our tour guide, Harvey, was personable and very knowledgeable about the history and sights he pointed out to us. My friend and I were the only guests one the tour, so it became a very intimate tour with just us three, and we took our time and had a blast! I highly recommend any of the tours and especially Harvey, our tour guide.

Spectacular Waterfalls, Views, & Hiking in the Woods
This is your tour if you love forests, mountains, waterfalls, and a fantastic guide! Tony was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure all participants had a good time. He adjusted the hiking pace to accommodate all hikers. He provided cold drinks and snacks. It was so enjoyable! And the waterfalls were SPECTACULAR!! It couldn’t have been any better, and I couldn’t wipe the smile from my face for the rest of the day!

Fabulous Blue Ridge Parkway Jeep Tour
Bryan was an outstanding tour guide on our Blue Ridge Parkway adventure. His knowledge of the area was impressive, and his friendly, caring nature made the experience even more enjoyable. He always prioritized everyone's comfort and allowed plenty of time at each stop without making us feel rushed. We had a wonderful trip and would highly recommend Bryan to anyone looking for an exceptional tour experience.

Wonderful tour!
We had a wonderful time on the ghost tour. Tad was a knowledgeable and engaging tour guide. I agree with other reviewers that this is a great activity to do when you first get to town - it helps you get oriented to the downtown area while providing some interesting local history.

A fun way to explore the city!
This was my first visit to the Asheville area, and we covered enough ground in three hours to give me a solid sense of the city on my first day. Our guide, Eric, offered interesting insight into local architecture and history. Because our group was small, he could tailor the route to the highlights we wanted to see. He did a great job! We moved through several neighborhoods and rode along wooded roads toward the Omni Hotel and its surroundings. We encountered plenty of wildlife, including a bear, in a peaceful and beautiful setting. I had never used an E-bike before, but it was a very enjoyable and a productive use of my limited time in Asheville. The forecast predicted rain all day, and I nearly canceled—I am so glad I did not! The weather held out and it was a lovely overcast fall day. Highly recommended!

Haley was our tour guide...
Haley was our tour guide and it was a wonderful experience. She was very knowledgeable and offered interesting information about the blue ridge parkway, Pisgah forest, and its history. She also gave recommendations for our trip in Asheville. The experience was relaxing and slow paced, but it also had some unexpected thrills. We were able to get up close to the waterfalls and climb across rocks to get closer to pretty views. We would recommend this experience for a young couple interested in exploring the land! Thanks Haley.

Anniversary getaway
This is a private retreat, 3 hours to do as you please and move at your own pace. We were greeted by Tom the owner who gave us a tour and showed us how everything worked and then he left us to it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This is a unique, high end, one of its kind retreat for a great price. We will definitely be back!

Great way to see & learn about the Asheville area
This tour was enjoyable and informative. Drew ensured all the riders in our group felt comfortable with the e-bikes prior to starting the tour. He then guided us through various areas of Asheville. Along the way Drew provided just enough history of the area to draw your interest and appreciation for the resilience of this community to survive the flood devastation that hit Asheville. The e-bikes were a lot of fun and very helpful on the steeper terrain. My favorite stop was the Omni Grove Inn. It is so beautiful.

Who knew Asheville had so...
Who knew Asheville had so much great food? The food tour was a great intro to many good restaurants. And Stu was great at interspersing the food with the history of Asheville - both past and more recent (the flooding from Hurricane Helene). Nice group of fellow eaters/travelers!

Interesting and beautiful tour
Absolutely wonderful tour. David is very knowledgeable about the history of the area and we learned so much on this tour. We had a beautiful fall day and clear views of the mountains, valleys and surrounding areas. He made sure we were comfortable with 2 rest room stops. Lots of opportunities for photos including the awesome waterfalls. David was fun to get to know and it was a pleasure spending time with him. Cookies were great! Thank you David.

A Fun and Helpful Introduction to Asheville
We had a great experience on the Asheville Hop-on Hop-off tour! Karen was awesome! She is knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She shared pictures to complement the tour, gave us useful information about each stop, and offered great suggestions for places we might want to return to and explore longer. She was also an amazing driver! The tour was a fun, easy way to learn about Asheville and decide where we wanted to spend more time. Highly recommend!

Yes and yes
Drove 6 hours from VA, and it was the absolute best experience! So much fear and respect of such muscular creatures and yet their gentle spirit calmed everything immediately! Well trained and easy to maneuver the horses. The guide (Joshua or Johnathan) was very informative and made sure our comfort was up to par. The scenery was breathtaking and unmatched. Will definitely return!
