This day trip showed us a brief preview of Slovakia (Bratislava) and Austria (Vienna). The only thing is the road trip is about 2.5 hours from Budapest but it was definitely worth the drive. Our driver Filip was friendly and he showed us the eastern European hospitality. Our family really enjoyed the trip. Highly recommend!

Knowledge, history and fun.
Juliana was a great guide, she took us to different points of interest throughout the city, she even gave us recommendations for nice places to eat and we made a stop at a very nice gelato place that shapes the scoops like flowers. Overall it was a great experience with a very knowledgeable guide.

Excellent care for seniors, flexible itinerary, intriguing historical tales.
A highlight of our Budapest visit was a Tuk Tuk tour. Greg arrived punctually and we gave input on which sites we wanted included. He provided historical context for each stop combined with interesting anecdotes about his own life in the city. When traffic was heavy he drove down old streets to avoid congestion, where we learned about floods and Jewish history. Fantastic views of the river were captured for our memories. He introduced us to funnel cakes and took us to a street where huge trees were covered in spring blossoms, one side was white and the other pink. Magical! This tour was the best part of our trip and Greg was very sensitive to the needs of my 83 year old mother, adapting the tour as needed. It felt like a visit with a friend, thank you Greg!

A great and well organised experience.
A very well organised experience. Boat was modern and clean with 3 floors of seating with the top floor outside. Plenty of staff including security. A drink of Prosecco was presented on boarding and accessing refills was really easy. It was advertised as unlimited Prosecco, Aperol Spritz and beer. I didn’t see anyone with beer. There was 3 types of spritz and also different waters. We were on the middle floor which was quite busy so it was difficult to hear the audio commentary on the sites being passed. We had a lovely experience and was well worth the price and I would recommend.

Beauty is at every turn in Budapest, whether you’re strolling through the Hungarian capital’s historic streets or sailing along the Danube River that splits the city in two. Budapest tours make it easy to see many of the city’s highlights with a guide, whether by bus, boat, e-scooter, Segway, or even tuk-tuk. Some focus on history, while others offer a deep dive into the city’s rich culinary heritage. Budapest is also a great base for taking trips into the surrounding countryside for a bit of wine tasting.
