We had the best day! Our guide was Tyler, he is exceptional. For the tour itself, we had all four seasons so I would caution you to come prepared with many layers. This is for sure the highlight of our vacation so far. Best of the Best VIP tour!

This was the BEST trip we have done so far! Deyse our tour guide was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about this tour as if I was her first time going to these castles! It is the most beautiful countryside and the castles and gardens are breathtaking! The driver and coach are A1 comfort and I only wish I had signed up for the other tours that they offer! 100% worth the VIP trip!

Great bus driver & tour guide!

The coach was very clean and the driver, Bashtin was excellent. Maria the tour guide provided very interesting commentary all along the drive. Both castles were wonderful and we had plenty of time. There is a lot of walking on this tour [19000 steps for the tour!) And many many stairs, this could be difficult for some.

The tour throughout the camp was very emotional and moving. Sam, our guide, was very good, informative, and made sure no one was left behind and answered every question. While I don't think I would want to go back to Dachau the experience was worth it.

Great experience! Our tour guide was Deepak and driver was Phillip, both were so wonderful. The drive was smooth, and along the way we got to hear a lot of helpful background information about the sites we were seeing and King Ludwig. The first castle is a pretty quick visit because there’s really just the castle and a small gift shop. The second stop is much longer to allow you time to do a little exploring, grab food, and make your way to the castle (the parking lot is not right outside the castle). I’ve seen some users say they don’t feel the visits were worth it or were too touristy, but I personally really enjoyed this day trip! Not only do you see some beautiful icons of history and architecture, the drive out through Bavarian countryside is beautiful. We were very blessed with beautiful weather, though.

Excellent tour with our guide Amanda who provided a great mix of local knowledge and interesting facts as we went around various market stalls and restaurants. Tried some delicious local foods that we wouldn’t have thought to try otherwise - enough to keep us full for the rest of the day!

Wonderful full experience!

It was a great experience! I felt like I was able to see a lot during this tour. The guide, Elisabeth, was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited. She was able to answer a lot of questions and provide a lot of information! It’s a good tour, recommend doing it, if you’re an eater like I am, I’d bring hearty snacks or food. They had snacks and drinks available, but somewhat limited options to eat throughout the stops until the end.

This was a very informative and complete explanation of how Hitler and the Third Reich came to power, going as far back as the late 29th century. In doing so we saw much of Munich and its beautiful buildings and spaces. Sam, our guide was very articulate and knowledgeable. He put together a very complete account for us. The walking portion was excellent and not too long or far for my group (all in their late 60’s). Well worth the time and money.

Perfect day in Salzburg

Lot of walking but at a reasonable pace even for 70 +. Lots of history, great views from the fortress, museums, Mozart, sound of music . Susan our tour guide was the best.. she coordinated the train and buses . Presented all the Highlights in a clear easy to understand way had frequent breaks. After our two hour tour through the city we had approx 2 1/2 hours on our own . Susan had suggested museums to explore , places to eat Cafes to have coffee and dessert ,how to visit the fortress . Ride to and from was almost two hours each way but was well worth the views of the countryside and the Alps. Susan was always around to answer questions. Everything from start to finish was perfectly coordinated.

Fabulous experience from start to finish. Our driver and tour guide were both wonderful; educational, funny and polite. The drive was pleasant, and the tour itself was perfect! Just enough time to have a bite to eat, explore the town, do some hiking around Mary’s bridge for some amazing views of the castle, and then an indoor tour with time afterwards for souvenirs and quick beverage before heading back. I personally feel doing both castles in one day would be too rushed. 10/10 would recommend this tour!

Perfect Way to End Our Trip

We had an amazing day with Sandro! He was very informative and kept us all on schedule so we were sure to see everything. The castles were fantastic and our whole family enjoyed this day trip. The countryside was beautiful and we liked having a driver so we didn't miss the amazing scenery. He gave us a lot of history of Bavaria and its Kings. He recommended a great place for lunch in Oberammergau. He even made sure we had some extra time at the end of the day for our kids to play in the snow at the last stop. We had been on a river cruise and stayed a few extra days in Munich so this was our last day of our vacation. It was the perfect way to end it. Sandro even went above and beyond helping us reclaim our luggage that had been lost for 10 days from the airline. We mentioned that we had been trying to get our bags that we tracked to Munich airport and he called a friend to help us. He sent messages all day to his friend while we were touring and they were able to find our bags for us before we flew home the next day. We had been trying for 10 days without any luck.

Great Trip!

Very good, informative trip. The museum was great and walking through the underground tunnel system was fascinating. Beware that if the weather is bad, you can’t go up to the Eagle’s Nest, which was a major disappointment, but not the tour company’s fault since they are focused on safety. They made up for it with extra time in Berchtesgaden, a beautiful medieval town.
