Juliana was a great guide, she took us to different points of interest throughout the city, she even gave us recommendations for nice places to eat and we made a stop at a very nice gelato place that shapes the scoops like flowers. Overall it was a great experience with a very knowledgeable guide.

Angie was the best tour guide I've ever had! She personalized the tour based on my interests, was very well prepared and incredibly knowledgeable about so many interesting topics. She shared her personal knowledge about the larger context of Hungary's complicated history, and we talked about so many topics, and saw so many sites and interesting places, often a little off the beaten path. The tour was great. Our guide was flexible with our interests. Be sure to wear walking shoes as there are steps and hills ( not too bad). It is beneficial to have the Hungarian currency if you use public transport.

Julia was a very friendly and accommodating guide! I really enjoyed this personalized tour which was everything I wanted from the short time I had in town. She highlights major spots, gave very good historical overview and recommended local spots. definitely recommend Julia for your trip!

We had an excellent tour of Budapest with our tour guide Attilla.
Attila reached out to us after we had booked the tour to let us know what areas he planned to show us and asked if we had other areas we would like to see and he revised his schedule to also include areas we wanted to see.
Attilla was very informative about the history of Budapest and all its beautiful buildings.
All in all it was a great tour and you won’t be disappointed if you have Attilla as your guide.

Julia was a very informative guide. She reached out to me after booking to find out our areas of interest. We covered a lot of ground and learned a great deal about the history of Buda and Pest side of the city. We were blessed with seeing the cherry blossoms in full bloom. It was very nice having a private tour so we could ask questions and keep up a good pace to see and learn more.

Viator
Julia led a fantastic walking tour that showcased Budapest’s rich history and iconic spots. It was delightful to discover those charming little sculptures scattered throughout the city. Her stories about each landmark were both captivating and informative, making learning about Budapest a breeze. The pace was manageable, though it did start to wear on us after two hours. She also introduced us to the city’s public transport, including the bus and the adorable yellow subway. I believe the fare was included, but I might have overlooked that in the tour details. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

The tour guide was great. However we changed the starting point location with Viator and they failed to convey the information to the tour guide so we lost a half hour of the tour. The guide made it up to us by completing part of the tour by tram.

A good first day overview of Budapest. Enjoyed walking around the sites. We took the subway to the other side of the river and this made later navigating the public transportation system must easier. Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and interesting.

We had a fantastic day with our guide Julia. She was extremely knowledgeable on everything on the walk and was so easy to listen to and chat to. It was like having a friend there in a walk. Julia took us to some great spots that we would have never discovered if we had been on our own. My family had a wonderful tour of beautiful Budapest with Yulia. You can't really go to a city like this without getting the history and I don't think there's a better way to do it than a walking tour. Yulia went at our pace (which was important because we were with our nine year old) and was sure to cover the highlights we wanted to see. But wear your walking shoes, you will cover a lot of ground!

Agnes tailored the tour to our liking, and went to a bookstore/cafe and gave us time within the Bohemian part of Budapest to explore. She knew a lot of historical context and was able to provide a local's perspective on the ruin bars, advent, and more. She was not offended when we chose to cut the tour a little short so we could have lunch by the church and walk the market.

Lőrinc was an exceptional host for my 4-hour Budapest tour. He was knowledgeable, warm, and incredibly welcoming. I felt safe, as if I were exploring the city with an old friend. His English is excellent, and his worldly background, having studied in Japan and India. He was flexible and very agreeable, and after getting to know your preferences, he took the lead to make the most of the tour time. We visited as many attractions and sites as we could in our short time!
We explored the city by public transportation, visited historic landmarks, enjoyed beautiful views, and covered so much ground in a short time. Because it was a private tour, we moved at our own pace and tailored the itinerary exactly to what I wanted. Lőrinc was flexible, patient, and always accommodating.
I only had one day in Budapest, but thanks to him, I was able to see all the major attractions with clear, insightful history at each stop. I could not ask for a better way to explore the city. If I was doing this by myself, I wouldn't have been able to get from point a to b as quickly, and without the small details he was able to point out. It was perfect. Highly recommend! The walking tour gave me an opportunity to see this beautiful city up close. The city seems well planned out where it gives you many areas for pedestrians to walk in areas to just enjoy the view and the beauty. A lovely city. The mini statues were nice touch to learn about the artist, Mihály Kolodko. It’s such a fun addition to the tour to try to find these mini statues throughout the city. Thank you, Julia I learned about the history, culture and the charm of Budapest. I hope to come back and spend more time.
