The definitive Berlin walk-around!
This is an exemplary outing, a must do for anyone who would want to know the storied history and character of Berlin. It was easily the highlight of our visit and gave us great pointers on where to go and what to do on our own later on. Leon was a very knowledgeable, warm and friendly guide. He explained all landmarks in great detail and in a very passionate manner, which he certainly is about the subject. Thank you!

A jarring experience recommended for everyone just once
I must say that we were blessed with an exceptional tour guide on this trip Xavier! His diction was clear, his voice projected and he had interesting story after interesting story to enhance our overall experience. He good Naturedly razzed me about being a troublemaker! Really made the experience enjoyable, so to speak (we did after all visit a concentration camp). A very interesting tour that as I say one should take part in just to understand the Nazi era and the concentration camp and extermination camp subject more. I've read a lot on this and watched a lot of documentaries, but experiencing it firsthand is totally unique with an unexpected takeaway. I wasn't prepared for how mentally draining it would end up being for me. Having said this, you really need to sign up for this experience! Xavier helped us stay connected. Getting on the train, getting to the concentration, camp, etc. he helped those who had not yet purchased their train ticket.

Who would have known history class could be so engaging!
As luck would have it, we had our second outing on this excursion with Xavier, are amazing tour guide! Xavier contributed so many new stories and so much new information to the experience, that it made for a really amazing walk about town! The tour ran a bit overtime with all the information downloaded to us! Having said this, he was careful to ask all of us if we had anything scheduled afterwards, so it wouldn't mess up future plans. Having the right tour guide is an amazing addition to an already very interesting subject! I and my wife really enjoyed this tour and learned a lot! I would recommend it for sure!

Excellent Tour
Arrived at meeting point just before 10am and met our tour guide Tina We left in a bus and on the journey to the Camp Tina gave us a short history of Berlin including landmarks and a history of the camp We arrived just before 11 and the 30 of us followed Tina to the start point. The tour was very informative with lots of questions and guide interaction and ample opportunities to take photos We were approximately 2 hours seeing and hearing lots of harrowing stories about life in the camp. Back on the bus for around 13.15 and back in Berlin for just after 14.00 On the return journey Tina spoke with all of the guests individually with further suggestions what to see in Berlin and answering any individual questions This is an excellent tour and well worth booking and hopefully you will get the ex excellent Tina as your guide

Berlin tours are as eclectic as the city itself. History buffs can spend hours pondering the World War II and Cold War museums and monuments, take a walking tour of the Berlin Wall, or visit Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp. Once you’ve uncovered the city’s past, it’s time to discover the delights of modern-day Berlin—explore the neighborhoods, tuck into street food, or go bar-hopping. Expert-led tours are also a great way to pack in all the sights, whether you choose a classic hop-on hop-off bus or river cruise, or add a fun twist and see Berlin by bike, Segway, rickshaw, or mini hotrod.
