A day in the country

What a beautiful day traveling to the country side. Julianna picked us up promptly at our hotel and was very cheerful . My sister and I loved the wines at the first wine celler and it felt so cozy and at home talking to the owner. The second winery served us a tasty Hungarian stew with barley pasta. Soooo yummy. I highly recommend.

The best way to see and learn about Budapest

Our driver - tour guide Gabriella was so knowledgeable about the history of both Budapest and Hungry itself. She took us all over the city, explained everything we were seeing and the history behind everything. She made me fall in love with the city and the people. It is the best way to see the whole city and learn about it. The Tuk Tuk was fun to ride in and because of the openness of the ride we were able to see and take tons of pictures. Anytime we wanted to stop to see something our driver did so safely. I think this is the best way to get a real feel for the city and it's history. I will be talking about this tour for years to come. I can't recommend it enough. When you book your tour I would ask for Gabriella, she made the whole experience great.

Seeing a lot effortlessly in a short amount of time.

Jon, a native of Budapest, picked us up promptly from out hotel and proceeded to give us a personal 3 hour tour of the entire tourist section of town. He was an excellent driver with a degree in history. He had studied in the UK and his English was easy to understand. He patiently answered all of our questions on historical, social, political, and architectural issues in Budapest and Hungary in general. As a bonus he directed us to the type of restaurant and eating experiences we were hoping to find. This tour allowed us to see so much in the three hours and we are now able to concentrate our limited time in Budapest on the locations of greatest interest to us instead of rushing around trying not to miss anything. Money well spent.

Dinner Cruise on the Danube

Make sure you get on the right boat! Joined the line and almost ended up on the Sip and Sail .... Very nice waiter at dinner, made sure I wasn't ignored. Charlie? The buffet was a little chaotic when it opened as folks just charged into the line wherever , but the food was good and plentiful. I didn't see Langosh, though, and was hoping for that. Scenery was magnificent - totally worth taking the cruise!

A fun way to see an amazing city

A very nice and fun cruise up and down the Danube which is a great way to see this stunning city. Staff was friendly, boat was nice,drinks were flowing, but I would suggest getting to the boat dock and in the line early as there wasn’t a lot of seating. One other issue was and I’m not sure if this is the app’s fault or the company who operates the tour, but there was no meeting point listed. I had to send a message asking and a few hours before boarding they responded with the location.

An Enjoyable Way to Spend An Evening

Silverline Cruises does an excellent job! When we first entered the boat we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. There were white tablecloths throughout and the tables were spaced appropriately apart given the number of people on board, yet providing a sense of intimacy. The music was lovely and not too loud as we’ve experienced in the past. The menu and food were very good! It was a multi course dinner offering choices on the entree and dessert. But the best experience of all was the lights of the city that come on while you’re on the water. It was an unforgettable experience!
