Beautiful & inexpensive day trip

A must see. The gardens are beautiful (visited 1st week of May) but need to visit earlier to see all the tulips in bloom (March/April). Still many of the tulips were flowering but unfortunately the tulip fields passed on the journey to the gardens & at the gardens had finished. Absolutely worth the visit.

Perfect amount of time...

Perfect amount of time for each attraction. The flowers were perfect. The story of paint making and the windmills was an amazing look back in time. The clog making demonstration and how to wear them was helpful. They even sell clog slippers! The cheese was delicious!!! Our tour guide was fantastic- she was organized, kind, efficient and funny. I would recommend this tour.

Great history of windmills in Holland

Liz was an amazing tour guide! She was very informative, friendly and accommodated the experience for the group that was with her. Seeing the windmills and learning of the history about their uses, how they were moved to the new location, and discovering the cultural background of the village were fascinating. This is a great introduction tour, and allows you the opportunity to explore more if you want to go back on your own. In spite of the tunnel being closed on our return back, she was able to maneuver a new route and keep the conversation going.

Kudos to Captain and Tour

Captain Charlie was outstanding in all aspects! Her control of the craft was amazing — in docking, maneuvering in busy spots, coordinating with other captains, assisting passengers safety and comfort, etc. Her familiarity with Amsterdam and points of interest was many layers deep; and she fielded many questions with ease. In her exchange with passengers, she developed a sense of “family” After two hours we disembarked knowing Amsterdam better and feeling like we also found new friends. Couldn’t be better. Hidden gem of a tour/ come hungry!

This tour is more than it’s advertised as. First we met in an adorable shop in Amsterdam Gastrovino Amsterdam where we joined a small group. We met Todd, our guide, and started with three stroopwaffel liquor, white wine, three cheeses and some cured meat. At our first stop we had fish and eel. The eel as amazing!! Todd didn’t push any food people had an aversion to!! At the next stop we had coffee to order and we watched Todd make us stroopwaffles. They were delicious! The next stop was for fries! We shared a huge amount of fries and the group couldn’t finish them! Our last stop Was apple pie and some beer!! All along Todd shared cultural and historical information. We walked and really enjoyed the food and the company. Todd was fantastic! When it started to rain he provided umbrellas! He was very cautious with us crossing streets. This tour was 3 hours long and worth every penny!

A lovely morning at...

A lovely morning at Kuekenhof Gardens. Well organised from picking up the tickets at the Tours and Tickets in Amsterdam Station and transfer by coach from just ouside the station to the Gardens. Best to get there early before the crowds build up. The Gardens were lovely and tulip displays were impressive. Transfer back to Amsterdam was timely and comfortable. A good visit!

Awesome tour! We got to go through every kind of canal Amsterdam has to offer while learning about the history, architecture, and cultural evolution. Spread of wines, beers, and nonalcoholic drinks with cheese, crackers, various candies to try, and of course those addicting waffle carmels. Was able to book last minute but don’t wait like we did! They say they have a rooftop that they pull out when it rains, luckily we had great weather and got to see some of the sunset in the late evening. 5 ⭐️s, recommend Capt Dave for the Capt Jack tour!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two hour canal cruise around Amsterdam. Drinks were reasonable and delicious. The charcuterie board was perfect for each couple. This was a much better experience than the very commercial and cheaper than the many canal cruises offered everywhere. Nick gave it the personal touch. My hides even very pleased with this experience.
