Our driver and guide was Rob and he was fantastic! He was also our driver on a ghost and gravestones tour. Very fun and friendly guide. Side note our shuttle driver to the tour was Meghan and she awesome too! She was also nice enough to drop us off at a farmers market at Forsyth after the tour and recommend somewhere for lunch.

Chris was our driver and host. Very good driver, provided lots of information about the area and was funny. He kept us on track and everything was perfectly timed. We had lunch, went on the dolphin tour, stopped by the lighthouse and had time to stop at south beach. Really a lovely day!

We were planning on hopping off earlier but he was so good we stayed on for longer. Parking at stop 9 was great as we came from the Hilton Head direction which made it extremely easy all round.

He is very knowledgeable of the area and haunts of Savannah. He even had a lot of extras to share about current technology studies being done on the grounds of Savannah. He gave excellent recommendations of places to visit more in depth and his restaurant recommendation was great (The Little Duck Diner). My only question is why was the poster amount per person in the carriage less than I paid? Was it taxes?

Lots of walking (also stairs) but covered a lot of the area we were interested in. Street construction made hearing a little difficult at times. The British meat pies were our fav. Most of the dishes were pretty upscale, though a bit salty. A nice selection of local southern dishes.

Land And Sea: Great Way To See And Learn About Savannah! Recommend To All!

This is a great way to see and learn about Savannah! The Trolley Tour takes you through some of the must-see sights in historic Savannah while talking about their historical significance. Then it takes you to River Street where you can hang out on the riverfront and shop and drink for a bit before you get on the Riverboat portion of the tour. I also found out later that the riverboat we were on was used in the filming of Ozark, which was cool. I liked the idea of seeing Savannah from land and sea and now I can say I’ve been on a trolley and a riverboat! I think my favorite part was seeing the architecture and greenery in historic Savannah in the famous squares and learning about the city layout. It was a great way to open my trip to Savannah and I think everyone should do it!
