A full day of a variety...

A full day of a variety of experiences and stops—a small town, two wineries, a boat ride and a really nice lunch at the first winery. The whole thing was made more memorable by Pedro Xavier and Julio. Pedro is a gem of a tour guide—fun and laid back! Made some new friends, had some good wine and left with a piece of memory to last us a long time.

This was a great excursion! Guess to all the caves and gave us a lot of information about them. We also were able to see the dolphins up close. They swam right by our boat. This was the perfect amount of time for everything. The rub boat was fast so we could see so many things during the 2.5 hours. The captains were great and very personable!

This was a great tour! Our guide Bernardo was great and very informative. We were very lucky and there was only 4 of us on the tour. Sinta, Pena Palace, Regaliera, Cabo da Roca, & Cascais were all amazing! This was a great tour to get to see lots of the must-see places in southern portugal. We feel we had enough time in each of the places to explore and see what we needed to see. The tour was well-organized and it did not feel like a long day. The restaurant that we went to was great! The food was delicious and there was plenty of wine. Overall ,a fantastic tour and we would highly recommend!

Great Tour!

Adolfo was a fantastic guide! He was very knowledgeable and alot of fun! Our family of five really enjoyed Sintra, the Pena Palace and cruising through the mountain roads and beach neighborhoods. We love Lisbon but it was great to see other places as well. We also really enjoyed the pastries and delicious lunch in Cascais. Thanks for a great day!

Pedro was awesome! He went above and beyond with taking us to the coolest spots around Lisbon. He’s also very knowledgeable and has answers to any questions you can think of. Since it was a private tour, Pedro went at whichever pace we preferred; he often checked in on us to make sure we spent time on sites we actually cared about and allowed us to skip places we weren’t interested in. I recommend doing this tour earlier on your trip so you get an overview of where’d you’d want to spend more time on. Overall, we had a wonderful time!

Maria was an excellent tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and personable. Before the tour was over, she knew everyone’s name. The group had a wide range of ages and she tailored her presentation so there was something for everyone. The history of Spain and Portugal was well covered. The controversy surrounding JK Rowling’s relationship with the Lello Book Store was an added bonus! The length of time and distance on foot was just about right for the 7 and 10 year olds and the 79 year old. Our group highly recommends this guide.

Miguel gave us such a great glimpse of the history of Lisbon not only physically with locations, but added the food to go with the changing of times and how it became what it is. It was wonderful with the whole family. I saw some very tucked away places in super charming, and some of the more touristy spots. We ended up going back to a few spots again later in our trip because we enjoyed it so much! Would highly recommend.

Booked this experience for my family (11 adults, 4 children 6 y/o and under), and it was perfect! The tour provided age-appropriate booster seats for the children for the car ride. Our tour guides (Miguel and Gonzalo) were kind, knowledgeable, and made the day fun and special. I loved that the tour included a bit of free time to explore around the visited towns while still providing great insight into local history.

Loved it!

We had a wonderful day seeing the beautiful Douro valley! Pedro was an excellent guide and was not only personable and kind but very knowledgable about the area and its rich history. The entire tour was very accommodating to our 10 year old granddaughter. At each stop they were ready to receive her and made her feel very much apart of the tour as well! It was a lovely day and we would do the same tour again!
