Best Tour, Best Tour Guide!

The Vatican tour was our final activity on a 3-week trip and we definitely saved the best for last. It was supposed to be a small group tour with 10-15 people, but there were 6 cancelations so it ended up being a private tour just for us. Very grateful City Wonders did not lump us in with another group. Our tour guide Klaus (Nikola) was amazing. Such a friendly, funny, and knowledgeable host for this journey through the museums. I would recommend this tour for anyone visiting Rome and suggest you request Klaus! An absolute pleasure. Gratzie!!!

One of our favorite Italy experiences!

This tour was incredible! Mano was an amazing guide, and was equally informative and entertaining. We learned so much about the history of Siena and Tuscany, and we would never have been able to go so many places in one day on our own. The lunch and wine tasting at the farm was very generous and fresh, it was one of the top meals we had our whole trip. The bus driver was safe and efficient. The tour was so good that it made me wish we had longer in each place, but it was a perfect taste of each town and now I know where I want to return to. Tuscany had many handmade artists shops, so save your souvenir shopping for Siena or San Gimignano. I would definitely recommend this trip 100%, and I hope to go on another Walkabout tour one day.

Myself and brother were...

Myself and brother were booked on the 6.30pm tour and had a great time. There is so much history and detail inside and outside the building that the guided tour is really helpful to fully appreciate. Our guide was very friendly and incredibly positive and passionate about the Sagrada Famillia. The cathedral is impressive from the outside but amazing from the inside and you are only getting part of the experience without going inside. The late evening sun coming through the stained glass windows is incredible.

Colosseum And Palatine Hill History from a local Roman!

We learned a tremendous amount about the Colosseum and Palatine Hill from Sabrina. She was an excellent Tour Guide. She treated us with the utmost respect and kindness. We are two Seniors in our mid Seventies who love to learn about previous generations of people and places and Sabrina has a wealth of knowledge and understanding as to how the people of Rome lived in the past as well as the evolution of the archeological digs that occurred up to current timeframe. She showed us how buildings to this day such as the capital building in Rome used prior generations of previous architectures as the basis and foundation of newer and current buildings built right on top of those of the past for their existing structures! Her analogy of Rome being like Lasagna which has layers on top of one another is an outstanding fit for the aforementioned. This was a group tour and we’d recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn about the history of the Colosseum and Palatine Hill with Sabrina. She is a local, a Roman and is extremely knowledgeable. As a matter of fact, when we return we will look to see if Sabrina is available for a private tour for both of us so we can enjoy and learn even more from her.
