Great trip!

Flavia was a good guide. Wish there had been cold water as the trip on the boat and in Murano was very hot. Please use microphone on boat rather than headset- so much clearer when she used the microphone. Burano was gorgeous and Flavias recommendations were excellent. Murano was very interesting, as we truly appreciated seeing the artistry of the glass blowing and the amazing art it created! Overall an excellent experience.

We had an amazing day on the Dolomites tour through Viator. Matteo was an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and passionate about the region. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and Mateo made sure everyone had a great experience while sharing interesting local history and insights throughout the day. We LOVE Sylvia! Oh - and the tour was pretty cool too!

This is a must book experience! It is something my family and I will remember forever. Sylvia was our tour guide. She speaks fluent English and is absolutely brilliant in every manner. Got a wine question? Ask Sylvia. Got an art history question? Ask Sylvia. Wanna know where to get the best of something in Venice? Ask Sylvia. Train schedule? Best bar? Quickest route to anywhere? Just ask her and she will know. We boarded the boat and were instantly impressed with Sylvia’s confident knowledge about all things Venice. The boat driver was incredibly conscious of our safety at all times. We spent some time at Murano - the glass demonstration was wild! It is an amazing part of history and it was so impressive to witness. From there we took to boat over to Burano. Burano is beautiful and full of shops and eateries. The lace demonstration was super quick - but again - so amazing to see that part of history. Walking around Burano was really enjoyable. We were able to walk independently and met at a specific meeting point when it was time to leave. Sylvia had given us her recommendations of best photo spots and best gelato! We did see the public transport boats pass us by and we were so glad we spent the money for a small group tour. Sylvia provided a history experience that we never would have known if we didn’t do this tour. We went with three teenagers and they were equally impressed with the tour. Sylvia is amazing and City Wonders is super lucky to have her expertise and knowledge for their customers. She speaks highly of her mom and dad - she’s a family girl and understands how important experiences like this are for families to enjoy together. I highly recommend this tour. Really. Spend the money and book the tour. You will not regret it.

Great Tour!

This was a long day, but we got to experience a lot! We went to Murano first, then Burano. Our guide was very knowledgeable and appeared to enjoy her job. We had approximately 30 minutes before the St. Mark's tour began, so "lunch" was a quick "grab-and-go" sandwich we found. Be aware, the seagulls are super aggressive and wife was dive bombed by a seagull trying to get her sandwich which was peeking out of her bag about 1/2"! Our guide for the next portion was very animated and knew his history! St. Mark's Basilica is gorgeous, Doge's Palace was filled with paintings and the guide brought them to life for us. He stopped at various spots which allowed us to take photos. The 30 minute gondola ride began/ended about a block from St. Mark's Square. Would definitely recommend this tour, but it's a long day!

The tour guide, Grace was just fantastic, Her knowledge of the building's history and artworks within the Basilica and history of the Doges at the Palace was outstanding. Grace kept it all very interesting and increased my interest to follow up on the Doges Republic. She was very conscious of pacing it to suit all level of fitness. A wonderful experience.

Wonderful tour of Venice’s heart of past political and religious power. Guide was knowledgeable, engaging & just made tour so much fun learning about Venice, not only for adults, but also our 16 year old twins, not an easy task 🤪. worth the price

excellent educational tour led by Sarah. learned a wealth of information about St Marks Basilica, Doge Palace and Venice in general. after these tours there was an hour and a half to explore, eat lunch, etc before gondola tour. this was also very pleasant, lasting about 45 minutes though the canal. be sure to arrive at tour operators locations in time to check in.
