- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to St.Mark’s Basilica.
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers’ full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the attraction.
- Acqua Alta (high tide) in Venice can cause delays in entering the Basilica.
- Sites visited during this tour are subject to occasional closures due to holy observances, high tides, and flooding. If a site closes, your guide will tour the exterior of the site. If time permits, you will be contacted before your tour. For last-minute closures, modifications may be communicated at the tour start time.
- Basilica is a holy place, both men and women must wear clothing that covers the belly, shoulders and knees.
- Religious authorities may decide to suspend skip-the-line priority because of the high number of visitors. We are only allowed to stay inside the Basilica for 20 minutes.
- In case of denied access, you will be provided with entrance tickets to visit the Basilica on your own at the assigned time.
- If you take the 2:00 PM tour, the Correr Museum will be closed before your tour finishes. Therefore, you will have Correr tickets for the next day
- Please note that carrying any type of weapon or sharp objects, such as a knife, is not allowed for this tour.
- Do not bring large bags or luggage. These items are not allowed, and there is no place to leave them, so you will be denied entry.
- Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
- Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.
- Direct ticket costs for the included attractions are as follows: Doge’s Palace (€27.00) and St. Mark’s Basilica (€12.00).
- Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 16 travelers

Our tour was on May 22, 2026, at 2:00 pm. The info to get connected with the tour ticket wasn't very clear or informative. But once we got connected with the tour guide herself, she was wonderful! Very articulate, informative, entertaining and extremely knowledgeable. We enjoyed the tour very much.

The tour guide was excellent and what we saw was extraordinary. However, the tour is 3 hours of standing/walking/climbing stairs with no way to sit and get relief. For older folks or ones with mobility issues, this quickly became a problem. The tour guide was VERY detailed with a lot of information, most of which was quickly forgotten. Information overload.

Clare was fantastic, full of knowledge, passion, and energy. My daughter eagerly soaked in all the history. It was a bit slow moving for me personally. It was very overpriced, over double what you would pay for touring without a guide. Definitely a tourist trap. Had we did it with any other tour guide besides Claire I'd be very unhappy with the overpriced experience. She is truly a Venice gem.

Sandra provided a wealth of information about the sites we visited. She was engaging, extremely knowledgeable and kept the group moving at a good pace. The tour is a little long as there is so much to cover so it may be not be as enjoyable for children or pre-teens.

We must’ve had a different guide than the ones everyone else is talking about in their reviews. Our guide spoke in a very quiet, monotone voice with a thick accent that was very hard to hear and understand. It was almost better to roam on your own. We only had one day in Venice and we felt like we did not wisely use our time by doing this tour. Would have rather booked both places and toured on our own, saving lots of money.

This is a very professional, complete, and interesting tour of two most remarkable Venetian historial buildings. Our tour guide, Ilaria, was very helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining ! Tickets also include a visit, on your own, to the Correr Museum, which should not be missed!

Thorough and highly professional tour. Our guide was great and patient with getting us through the crowds. This is a must if you don’t want to spend hours waiting in a line. We had plenty of time to see David and as the tour ended there we could stay as long as we wished.. Only advice to people who might need any type of walking assistance, this tour is not for you. Unfortunately for both the people who were “challenged” and those on the tour who wanted to see as much as possible, there was lots of waiting for people to catch-up. But our guide diplomatically handled the situation with empathy and diplomacy. The tour company needs to be firmer in its policies regarding this.
