Our tour guide, Julia was amazing! She took us off the beaten path and we saw all the lovely side streets of Venice that gives it its charm. We saw a ton and walked a good distance but the kids didn’t even notice because they were so engaged in the conversation.the pace of the tour was customized for our family and it made for a special day.

Wonderful Tour of Venice! We are a large family of 10 with 5 children ages 8 to 18. Giulia was great at engaging young and old alike. We went to the main sights along with others away from the hordes of people and more shaded areas, which was a relief!
Our guide always had a smile on her face which was contagious!
Everyone agreed it was a great tour.
Thank you, Gullia (Julia😍)

We had an amazing tour with Julia! She was warm and engaging as a guide. She pointed out all the major sights but also the small things that really gave you a sense for the local culture. My son loved seeing the local elementary school as we walked by, and was fascinated when she pointed out the ambulances (which are boats of course!). She kindly made recommendations for restaurants to try during our trip and really tailored the tour to our interests. It’s clear she loves her city and by the end of the tour we were in love too! Highly recommend this tour for families looking for a good orientation to Venice.

Our guide Veronica was amazing!!!! She made the tour interesting, engaging, and fun for us and our 8 year old daughter. Wish there were more tours like this in other cities. We learned so much and had a great time!!!

Wonderful tour. Very happy with the guide and worked well for our 12 and 13 year old. Very engaging and informative.

Chiara was great! She took our families all over Venice and showed us some back roads, cool history about some of the buildings and kept the tour fun for two 12 year old girls. It gave us the lay of the land on our first day, which made the rest of our stay even better.

Veronica was awesome and very informative. Gave my girls special Venetian prizes too. Great experience.

Chiara is so wonderful! Went out of her way to accommodate us since my husband got sick and couldn't join. Very sweet and helpful. Highly recommended.

Too often my kids are bored on tours but not this one. The guide did an excellent job engaging them.

This was great!! Erica was very knowledgeable and did a great job engaging my 10yo who the day before had been for ed to go on a very boring tour for adults. What I actually lived about this tour — and therefore would recom it to adults too — is that she focused on smaller details. Each one told a bigger story and in the end they all come together to give you a broad sketch of what Venetian culture — not just history — is about. I spent the whole rest of the day telling my daughter “Wow I’m SO GLAD we went on that tour!! It was perfect!” Def provided a model for the kind of tour we will look for in the future when visiting other places!

Great tour for my family of 5. All tours we took in Rome Florence and Venice were excellent my kids are ages 15, 12 and 10. All tours we took were made to be enjoyable and informative
Joanne F, Aug 2018
We booked this tour for our only full day in Venice and Im so glad we did! It was absolutely worth every single penny. Federica was beyond amazing and kept our boys 8 and 10 years old engaged and excited the entire time. It was wonderful to walk around with someone who not only knew the area, but clearly loved it and was full of interesting information about things we probably wouldnt have noticed. We did the tour in the late morning and it was the perfect introduction to the rest of our day as she offered tips on where to go first and where to eat for lunch and dinner. We followed her suggestions and our day in Venice was one of the best ones in our whole Italy trip. We fell in love with the beauty and charm of Venice and I know its because we knew some of the background, thanks to Federica. If Im venice again, I would book this tour in a heartbeat. If you are considering booking this tour and you have children, you will not regret it! We all really enjoyed it! Thank you Federica!

Federica was great! We travelled with a 5 year old and an 8 year old and this was perfect for them. We were a bit doubtful about the attention span of our kids but her quiz and prizes kept them entertained and the adults learned lots too - taking us to places in Venice we would never have come across. Federica took us to places that were away from the tourists and shaded from the hot summer sun. There was just us and one other family who had a 7 year old and a 12 year old and they were happy too! Thanks Federica! Meet her in the square in front of the church on the instructions.

This tour was great. Our guide I'm sorry I've forgotten her name did a wonderful job of keeping both parents and children engaged and entertained. It's fun to walk around Venice on your own, but there are a lot of details and local history that you only get if you take a tour. Recommended.
Cassandra B, May 2018
What a wonderful interactive tour! My 9 year old was truly engaged the entire time, yet I too enjoyed every minute as an adult! I highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to see the best of Venice!
venetia_b, Mar 2018
Federica was amazing - by far my the best bit of my 10 year old daughter's trip. So engaging and fun and we learnt loads!
Lucy M, Jan 2018
Fredericka was our tour guide and the kids our boys 9 and 11 really liked her. We also enjoyed meeting another family on this tour as it was a good diversion to have another child in the mix. We learnt interesting facts about Venice and loved our gelato stop. Fredericka was great at pointing out local places to eat and the kids liked all their prizes they won on the way. It didn't have quite as much historical content as I expected however it certainly kept the kids moving and entertained.

This tour was perfect for the Kids and us parents, were taken into loads of
Off the beaten track places that we never have found otherwise. Our guide Federica was charming, knowledgable and brilliant with engaging the kids and keeping their interest. Just Brilliant thank you.

Veronica was engaging from the moment we met her! She has a great knack for getting the kids involved and asking and answering questions that get them involved and keep them interested. She kept the energy going throughout the tour. If you are going to Venice and have kids then this is the tour for you. You wont be disappointed!
Una T, Oct 2017

Jon N, Sep 2017
We learned so much about Venice duirng this tour. Our guide was great with the kids. We even stopped for Gelato along the way!
Sara M, Sep 2017
Veronica was a brilliant guide, lots of interesting information about Venice - for children and parents alike! My children loved it and are still talking about the facts Veronica imparted. Highly recommended.
Julie G, Sep 2017
Great tour! Our guide Federica was amazing. She was patient with our kids and kept our 4 1/2 year old excited with games and prizes. Definitely recommend!
Kathy M, Sep 2017
The tour guide was very friendly and great with the kids. We mostly followed he from place to place and she did to say much about any of the places we visited unless we asked specific questions. she gave the kids a sheet to fill with points for finding certain landmarks, which was very cute. The kids enjoyed that. She gave a few prized the got them very exited. The tour was not very informative, but the kids had a nice time.
Traveler, Sep 2017
A heartfelt Grazie to Veronica, the very knowledgeable and personable tour guide! She really connected with the children who ranged from 6 to 13, and made sure to include everyone, in particular the more reserved kids.
Veronica guided the group to a fruit and vegetable market, a fish market, we walked and walked through Venice, all the while she explained about the history of Venice or, for example, how to figure out in which quarter of Venice you are hint: it's on written the lamps.... We went to visit a bookstore for a great photo opportunity where the kids climbed on a ten foot high book chair. That was cool. She explained about the usage of masks, where the tradition comes from, for example, the so-called doctor's mask. We also stopped for Gelato grown-ups got one too :. All-in-all an excellent experience for kids and their grown-ups. It's a lot of walking though, so just be prepared ad make sure to wear comfortable shoes and remember your sunblock :. The tour was closer to three hours rather than the 2.5 hours advertised. So flexibility is key.
The meeting place is in front of a church near the Rialto bridge. We were lost but our tour guide found us, asking if we were looking for the tour. Suggest to be there a little bit ahead of time, if you're not familiar with the area. Well done, Veronica. Thank you!!!!

Only one other family joined us together with Veronica, our guide. She made our 14 yr old welcome. We walked through uncrowded streets and enjoyed little snippets about Venice and its history. We stopped for an ice cream and took photos at the end. Thoroughly recommend.
